I always loved carnival cruises but this was a disappointment. From ship, food, entertainment, to city.

Ship Quality

Hated it!!!! To many outside stairs. Pools layout ridiculous. Other than rust, nasty windows on outside. My room view was atrocious. Paid for room with view.so nasty on out side couldn't see. The staff was continously cleaning behind everyone. They did their best. The ship overall need a makeover.. when captain spoke over the loud speaker you could not hear him. All over hallways has wet spots from water.
Cabin / Stateroom

Beds were pushed together made an uncomfortable seem.room over all was ok. Just load noises from hallways. Tried to call security they wouldn't answer the phone.
Driver gave us a city tour. Nothing special. Have to get on another boat ride 15 min to shore. If you are handicapped u will not be going. Having to wait in hot sun for the boat to get full to return is no fun.
I was on the same sailing and we very much enjoyed the ship, and there was plenty of things to do besides be in the sun all day. The Glory is obviously an older ship, but it was very nice.
Your room was on Deck 2 you realize the Caribbean is salt water right? Did you expect window washers dangling out there to ensure you had a perfect view? Nothing was satisfactory so maybe try spending your money elsewhere. Personally I'm never miserable on a cruise because a day on the ocean is a day I'm not at work.
It appears to me that alot of the issues were of the personal opinion type , therefore maybe it was the person that was the issue. It is a floating ship not the Ritz Carlton.
It sounds like you need to quit cruising since you seem to be so hard to please on everything. Maybe check into Crystal, Symphony, Viking, Oceania or Regent and they will be up to your standards.
Sailed on Glory twice and had zero issues, but some of the things you had an issue with sounds like it’s coming from a person that’s difficult to please. A ship is in the ocean which is salt water; it’s not as simple as you may think to keep the windows clean.
You sound like you are very hard to please. If you look for something to complain about, you will find it. Try being positive. It doesn’t hurt!!!! Love Carnival
