Review summary

This cruise did NOT provide the WOW factor that I expected. The highlight for me was the tribute to veterans. Few issues with the room, and few with food service.

Average size, lumpy mattresses, and refrigerator was broken. Despite reporting it, I was told it was maxed out. Just because it was on 7 of 7, it still was NOT cold and quite useless! No vents in the head.

great value in sailing with Carnival. Try going anywhere , let alone exotic places , doing the same things , for what you spend on Carnival. CANT BE DONE !!

Hmmm....funny thing is that this is the only negative review I’ve read for this ship. As for the frig not working, NONE of Carnival ‘s refrigerators keep things terribly cold. We place an ice bucket in the frig, and it works like a charm to chill the area, and our beverages. You need to remember that this is an older Carnival ship, so it may not have been living up to your high expectations. I’ve viewed several videos of this ship on YouTube, so I know exactly what to expect when I sail this ship in February. And in my opinion, Carnival has the friendliest staff of all the cruise lines I’ve sailed, along with some of the best food. I’ve sailed RCCL, and yes they can WOW you, but the food is sub par, and the staff unfriendly. I think I’ll stick with Carnival.
