Exciting Cruise by PhyllisG4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The trip was very exciting. We traveled on the Glory to the Eastern Caribbean. This was our first cruise and we were not sure what to expect. The trip however exceeded our expectations. The friendly atmosphere, good food and activities made for a wonderful trip.

Low Class Cruise by TerriS4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The ship itself is very nice. May have been an OK cruise with different passengers. Carnival really needs to enforce some type of dress code, at least for evening events. Saw more sleeveless undershirts and baseball caps than anything else. Since when is a cowboy hat and jeans considered FORMAL???

great cruise with exceptions by Glennp1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Had a good cruise with 18 other family members. 4th Cruise. Glory is much bigger then the Fantasy and Imagination we were on before. Prefer the layout of Fantasy/Imagination. The Dininig Room is in back of the Ship where there is a lot of vibration. Had a good time but it is hard not to enjoy any Cruise with Carnival.

A week of being pampered in style! by RickE5

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The ship is three years old, but is kept immaculate. The boarding process was very quick. We were sitting on our balcony within 30 minutes of arriving at the port. At every port of call we were able to get off and back on the ship with little trouble. Lines moved quickly, when there were lines! Our room steward checked with us within 30 minutes of our arrival to see if there were any special needs. Our waiter in the main dining room did a great job describing the meals and telling us what he thought was the best each night and he was right. If you want to be involved in activities, there are plenty for you to enjoy. The cruise director and his staff kept everybody involved during the entire cruise. If you have never been to St. Thomas you have to go - it is Paradise!

A fun time with new friends by RickC6

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

A huge ship for me! The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. The food was better than average and had a tremendous variety. The shows were fun and well rehearsed. There were plenty of activities daily. My only complaint would be the constant push to buy goods.

Everything You Want In A Cruise by GinnyH

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The Glory cannot be beat overall. It was clean and well laid out. Everything was very accessable and easy to find. An A+ cruise for anyone. The choices of things to do at night are unlimited from organized games to Kareoke to dance clubs. The program for teenagers was outstanding. Our son had so much fun and made new friends he is still in contact with. the food choices are great. The Red Sail restaurant is a casual dining buffet that has food equal in quality to any favorite restaurant you eat at at home. The sushi bar was great and avaiable most all day.

Carnival Glory - Sept. 9-16, 2006 by KeithD5

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The ship is large, 110,000 tons, 952 feet long. I had not been a fan of these mega-liners in the past. This, though, was a very easy ship to get around and you never had to very far to find what you were looking for. This is a ship for the very, very active cruiser. If you enjoy entertainment and activities, non-stop, as well as being fed 24/7, then you've found your perfect vacation. If you are a more sedate traveller looking for rest and relaxation, then I would look elsewhere.

Our 8th Carnival Cruise by JoeS12

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

A few years ago we tried Royal C and the ship was fantastic but food and service was subpar to Carnival. The Glory is a new ship (3 years) but layout is not as good as "Destiny" class. I think it may be time for Carnival to retire the "Joe Farcus" design aka: Las Vegas 80's style and enter the 21st century. If you combine Carnival's fun atmosphere and food to Royal Carib's ship design you have a slam dunk. Carnival's upscale Steakhouse/Supper Club was worth every dime and was one of the best meals I have ever had, anywhere. I would strongly recommend you add this to your itinerary.

A Wonderful, Relaxing Vacation by JessicaM10

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

Our vacation on the Carnival Glory was better than expected. The ship was beautiful. The best aspect of the cruise is the staff that works so hard to keep the cruisers happy. Our overall experience was wonderful.
