A week of being pampered in style!

Sail Date: September 16, 2006

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The ship is three years old, but is kept immaculate. The boarding process was very quick. We were sitting on our balcony within 30 minutes of arriving at the port. At every port of call we were able to get off and back on the ship with little trouble. Lines moved quickly, when there were lines! Our room steward checked with us within 30 minutes of our arrival to see if there were any special needs. Our waiter in the main dining room did a great job describing the meals and telling us what he thought was the best each night and he was right. If you want to be involved in activities, there are plenty for you to enjoy. The cruise director and his staff kept everybody involved during the entire cruise. If you have never been to St. Thomas you have to go - it is Paradise!

Pros: The ship was clean, the ports were fun

Cons: shore excursions could use some work, debarking was slow

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
PARADISE! My wife and I will be going back to this jewel of an island. Don't take land and sea historic excursion. You ride around the harbor then are taken by bus to Blackbeard's castle and have to find your way back to the ship. Do take the gondola ride to the top of the mountain. The view is wonderful. We sat up there and watched the sun set with a drink in our hand. Very enjoyable.
Don't Miss: the gondola ride to the top of the mountain

Nassau, Bahamas
It was a Sunday and lots of things were closed. We went to Atlantis and had fun walking through the aquarium and then played a few rounds on the slot machines.
Don't Miss: If you have not seen it, you have to go see Atlantis. Take a taxi instead of a shore excursion so you can go back to downtown when you want to.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Our excursion was not that great. The water was deep and cloudy where we snorkeled, but a storm was coming in. Next time we will go to the beaches on the French side. Our fellow cruisers who went there had a lot of fun.
