Carnival Glory by WandaB4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Ship was great overall. Nice decor. We had an inside cabin and it was plenty big for the 3 of us. Great closet space. Lots of public areas for relaxing and just listening to music. Shows were good. Casino was fun.

Not the best cruise I've ever been on by RhondaS3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

We were very disappointed with this being our 5th cruise, the third on Carnival. We did not receive what we requested and information lacked severly. A most disappointing trip for our daughter's 21st birthday not to say embarrassing since we had built it up to her boyfriend. Everything that could, id go wrong. No plans to re-book with Carnival or agent.

Have Had Better Cruise Experiences by MarkJ10

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

I thought the quality of the entertainment could be improved. We listened to the same duet on the Lido deck that had about 5 songs they played for the intire 7 days. Past cruises we had much better Lido deck intertainment. I don't know why, but it seemed like we booked a date that had been a special for the 65 and older crowd. Foud it diffacult to reach any food buffet due to the older people pushing and cutting line to get to the food first. In general, the older people were rude through out the ship.

My first cruise exceeded my expectations by DianaD3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

I waited to try a crusie because I thought they were for honeymooners or senior citizens. Was I ever wrong! My cruise exceeded almost all of my expectations and I enjoyed a wonderful week on the Carnival Glory. The ship's decor reminded me of all the glorious, upscale cruises of the movies, but everything was updated and freash. I enjoyed the luxury of a 5 star plus resort, and only unpacked and packed once to see three different countries. No catching trains or planes once I arrived, it was easy and enjoyable to enjoy the sights onshore. On board, there was everything to do or nothing to do if that is what I wanted. The crew were all top notch and cared for my needs with a skill and desire not seen by me lately in hotels or land resorts. Carnival knows how to provide an enjoyable and memorable time!

Great first and second cruise :) by LindsayL

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The food was absolutely wonderful, our waiter Yos was awesome and he let us try as many different dishes as we wanted. The entertainment was pretty good too. There is always something to do on this ship. We met some great people from Reno who were our same age and we spent most of the time with them and we had a blast! Cozumel, Costa Maya and the Bahamas were all so much fun, we didn't get off the ship in Belize due to a bit of sea sickness but I heard it wasn't worth getting off the ship for anyway. Overall a wonderful trip that I would recommend to anyone. It was my second cruise with carnival and my boyfriends first and we are already planning another!

beautiful ports of call by AprilT

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

stateroom was good but general cleanliness of the ship was poor. Also found a lack of utensils and cups/glasses in the red sail restaurant. Food and garbage under tables and a lot of tables left uncleaned. The ship itself was nicely layed out and the decor was nice. I also think they should review the adult entertainment a bit better. Using the "F" word does not constitute funny.

Pleasant but needs work... by NeedhamL

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Particularly liked the suite arrangement - luxurious bathroom (bathtub kind of narrow...) courteous and efficient service at all levels..SPA, SUITE,RESTAURANTS, Loved the balcony, unfortunately could not enjoy it as four or our immediate neighbors were smokers and were outside smoking at all times...We found getting around the ship a bit confusing compared to other cruises we have taken... All deck chairs were reserved early in the morning ( when we went at 7:30 and 8:am most choice spots had been chosen.).no people but beach towels covering all chairs...Something should definitely be done about that...and it was certainly more than 30 minutes before said chairs were occupied - We thought that as VIP cruisers we would get better accomodation around pool and sunning spots...so that was most disappointing...Food was average..service was excellent..Entertainment was much too loud - we had to walk out and didn't go back..."Butch" our master of ceremonies, seemed to scream at us all day long...perhaps a slower and not quite so "hyper" tone of voice would have been more soothing...The shore arrangements were efficient and pleasant...the weather, thankfully, was wonderful..wish we could have enjoyed our balcony more...as we seemed to be upwind of every smoker around us...

Fun on a Fun Ship by WilmaM

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The ship was beautiful, it was larger than I expected. We had a great time and we are very experienced Cruisers with over 20 cruises behind us. We have been on most of Carnivals competitors, and she holds her on with all of them. The Glory has alot of areas where you can just sit back and relax.

Ship was nice, but please be careful booking excursions thru Carnival. We had problems in Costa Maya. I would write more but site keeps timing me out.

I was on the Lido deck with a balcony cabin, and thoroughly enjoyed the balcony and the close proximity to the casual dining area. The ship was large and well-maintained.
