Review summary

The Carnival Glory is an older ship, but was kept very clean. The nightly entertainment could have been a little better, but we enjoyed what was available. The guests on this cruise were more mature and the entertainment could have been geared toward this crowd. The food was very good, our stateroom was very spacious. We allowed Carnival to pick our room and were nicely surprised to have  a handicapped room which had a huge bathroom. We will definitely cruise with Carnival in the future.

This was a handicap room with a huge bathroom. We greatly appreciated it, even though we are not handicapped.

Ship tip

Always dine on formal nights, even though one does not have to wear formal attire. The dinners are excellent - lobster, shrimp, steak.

It's a shame the residents don't take more pride in their island, which is beautiful, but lots and lots of trash along all the roads.

The BEST place to buy jewelry on the side streets. The dealers will negotiate with you.

Must go to the airport and watch the planes fly over the beach.

Leaving our favorite Island of St. Thomas. A cliff jumper in Grenada. The airport in St. Maarten.

I understand what you're saying about the entertainment, but someone a week ago just posted that they thought the entertainment was geared toward a more mature crowd which didn't reflect the younger consensus of the ship. Carnival doesn't change it's entertainment each week according to the crowd on the ship, it's the same shows that repeat every week. The only shows that may change are the comedy shows.
