Review summary

We took this cruise because of all the great Ports of call! Spending 14 days on the ship was amazing! The crew/staff went out of their way to provide the best service! We loved being able to completely unwind and enjoy the ship due to the length of the cruise!

I can't say enough good things about this trip! There was a down side though, The disco/club was empty every night... Due to the length of the cruise, we understood that not a lot of people our age (Mid 40's) could take that much time off, so the ship was predominately full of Seniors (65 plus), who generally went to bed by 8-9pm (Jazzy and Rascal scooters Parked in the hall LOL). We prefer Carnival Cruise Lines because of the energy of the passengers, and this was a little different, but still enjoyable for us!  We look forward to doing more "Journeys", the ports of call and length of the cruises fit us perfectly!

We love balcony rooms, it gives you the option of getting sun, without having to find a lounge chair on deck. Plus, it provides the perfect opportunity to see flying fish, wild dolphin, to have a romantic sunset drink, and see shooting stars after dark!

Ship tip

The best kept secret on the Glory is the Fish 'n Chips restaurant located upstairs in the Lido main dining area! Fried oysters, seafood soup, fried calamari and cerviche!!! also, get to the pool area EARLY, (If you want to find a seat). Make sure you have a "Guy Fiere" Burger!!!!!!!!

If you are looking for a great beach, go to the Boat Yard"! There is a bar, a rope swing off the pier, an inflatable island to jump off, clean water, clean bathrooms and the $15 entry fee includes a free drink and transport back to the ship terminal!

Glad you had a great trip we're going on the glory in February. Do they have the Internet package for $99 for the whole cruise?
