For the posh dining go all the way to the back of the ship to the elevators to get there. If you don't you will get lost. It's like a maze to get there and made me frustrated on the first night.

I would suggest to sail on freedom although I’m sure there are other ships compared to her and I’ll probably take her again if I cruise I love the ship, the atmosphere and the staff.I guess you could say you guys kind of spoiled me.

Download the carnival hub app very useful on the ship. Plan activities, chat with family and friends, maps, activities, and check your sail n sign account.

Don't book through Priceline. They make promises of on board credit, don't deliver and make you wait for a credit

Try to get your money back. Go to an all inclusive in the Caribbean or Mexico. Better value more fun.

Just relax and enjoy the pampering and available activities aboard ship, but don't fail to take advantage the opportunities to explore each port of call, whether with a Carnival-sponsored Shore Excursion, a privately booked excursion or just explore on your own (just make sure you get back aboard on time).

Book excursions that don't run the risk of being cancelled. Ex: boating, jet skis, etc. There was a tremendous amount of confusion at Grand Caymen related to excursions. A large number of people were on shore without the knowledge that their excursions had been cancelled due to the weather. They were scrambling for things to do.

It was fun to sit in the sauna while we were exiting port. Hardly anyone used the steam room or sauna. It was a relaxing way to watch the ship leave port.

My favorite thing is to find the secret space for that special view. On 7 if you go all the way forward, there is a door onto the deck just below the bridge, port side. You get a spectacular view from there great for photos. The Buffet has not nearly enough seating. Since we were a group of 5 it posed a problem until we learned to peg our table first, some would go first...no rules about waiting for everyone seated to eat. I hate that about buffets you get your food and then walk around looking for tables while your food gets cold. Can't be helped, grab a table then split up and go get the food. Guy's burgers...if you are into burgers...must do! For a change try the Blue Iguana and Deli, if you hit it right there isn't a line. If you have a drink plan...be sure to take advantage of all the drink options...the coffee bars, especially! My favorite....chocolate milk shake with Bailey's Irish Cream!
