This was our second Carnival cruise and we're looking for to our next one. We had a fantastic and are now addicted to the Cruise Life.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Much quicker than our previous cruise embarkation.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Since wife was "too hungry to wait", we only ate in the main dining room twice during the cruise (the first and last night of the cruise) and mainly ate at the various buffets aboard ship. The food was good and I put on an extra pound during the trip. We also frequently had coffee at the Viennese Cafe.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Spent a lot of time on the Serenity Deck, watched an outdoor movie ("Dunkirk" which was excellent!), took in the stage shows and spent a little time in the casino.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The stage shows were entertaining, the musicians we listened to were good and the Cruise Director ("Malcolm") kept us entertained and informed throughout the voyage.
Children's Programs
We didn't take a child with us, but maybe next time we'll bring our Grandsons.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Every member of the staff that we interacted with was friendly, professional and helpful.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was very clean and well-maintained by the ever present housekeeping and maintenance staff. Our Stateroom Steward ("Harvey") was exceptionally attentive, friendly, professional and a delight to work with.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet (despite being way in the Forward section of the ship near the anchors). There was an adequate amount of space for the two of us who occupied the Stateroom.
Ship tip
Just relax and enjoy the pampering and available activities aboard ship, but don't fail to take advantage the opportunities to explore each port of call, whether with a Carnival-sponsored Shore Excursion, a privately booked excursion or just explore on your own (just make sure you get back aboard on time).
We absolutely love Cozumel and were glad to be returning to it (and look forward to going there again). We didn't go on an excursion this and just spent time walking around, eating My meal at "Pancho's Backyard" was delicious!) and shopping.
