hard to figure out first few days after that ok

The ships interior is a dark and depressing color scheme which hardly felt appropriate for a carribean vacation. The design was so disjointed. One comes to expect a neon explosion in cruise ships but this was truly bizarre. It's layout was also bizarre with not all floors connecting through at the ships end. It is a hugh vessel but not easy to navigate. Unfortunately, our weather was bad which caused us to have to spend more days at sea aboard a dark ship. The main deck was crowded and full of party people. The common area inside the ship on deck 5 had uncomfortable seating and too close proximity of the casino and all the smokers which made it unpleasant and musty from smoke. The basketball court only had 1 hoop and was 1/2 court. You must be able to climb several flights of stairs to get to the hoops or the mini golf course.

this could had been a good experience if the captain would of taken in to consideration the changes he was making and thinking about the guest and not the time line of rthe company The should refund us some of our money as they did not give us what we paid for.

The ship overall was nice. It was very clean. The captain took us in a different direction once he heard there was a storm in our original path. We had a really good time.

Wonderful ship, well maintained, comfortable cabin, excellent staff

We booked this cruise because we wanted to go on the shore excursions for the ports Key West, Ocho Rio, and Grand Cayman Islands. We Only went to one of those ports we actually paid for. Instead of Ocho Rio we went to Montego Bay which is very run down and unsafe. Your constantly getting harrassed by vendors to come into their shop but you can't ignore them or your considered rude. And in the rough neighborhood of Hip Street you don't want to be considered rude. Grand Cayman we arrived but the ship turned around because of rough seas so instead of going to another port we went back to key west. We had an interior stateroom and it also had its share of problems. The size was alright but you could everything in the walls from people walking in the halls to doors closing, people next door showering and even talking. I was also so disappointed in the lack of children's activities and programs. Our daughter is 2 in two weeks we were told even if she can't go to Camp Carnival there is a lot of activies she can do. There were none. The only way our daughter could have participated was if we paid 6.95 and hr plus 15 percent gradituies so its not an issue of can she play with the toys and do activties but Carnival wants more money. They have a baby sitting program at 10 pm but thats when our daughter goes to sleep. I asked if someone could watch her sleep in the room and they said no. There is no place for kids to sleep in Camp Carnival but on the bare floor. The food was either hit or miss, some things were good and some like the powdered eggs were horrible. I would never recommend or go back on this cruise.

Freedom was easy to get around in, stateroom as spacious, crew was very attentive

The Carnival Freedom was wonderful. The overall layout and amenities on board surpassed our expectations.

This was our first Carnival cruise, so we didn't know what to expect. We have always went on Princess in the past as we were afraid there would be too many children on carnival ..Not the case at all. Very few childen in October. Highly recommend Carnival Cruises and the Carnival Freedom. So much so we already put down a deposit on our next cruise with them.

The crew was not as personable as the other cruises I have taken. Seemed as if they wanted to hurry up and finish the trip.

Food was not good, lines were very long, restaurant dining took hours , plan on over two hours for dinner if not three they would run out of desserts on buffett tables limited fruit bar

Shows were the best I have seen. I was unhappy that it seemed like there were times when a lot of activities were available and times when nothing was available. For example, the 70's disco seemed to only have dance music two nights out of a 6 day cruise. Why have the place if nothing is ever going on there? Also, we had to leave the lobby area while a picture was being made for a family. Why couldn't this have been done during the day? I paid for the cruise and I have to miss 45 minutes of entertainment because they were trying to round up 150 people from around the ship.

I thought the ship would be beautiful from seeing it on line. It was just ok. The staff kept it incredibly clean. I love the free time dining. The slide was fun and the adult only area was really nice.

The ship was a normal older Carnival ship. The age range of people on this boat was higher up the scale, and the ship catered to their every request.

The first time I took Carnival and it was an outstanding experience. I enjoyed every minute.

Te ship was exceptionally cleaned and well staffed. The only question is: why do ships don't stay overnight? That would give ample time to visit more sites. We had the best floor aboard, right on the Lido deck, you couldn't ask for more, everything right on this floor.

The ship was clean and staff was friendly. Dining took at least 2 hours, very slow, poor service. Food looked good but was very bland lacking in taste and quality.

Very clean, very curteous staff, relaxing adult only areas, and excellent food! The formal scheduled dinner food and Indian food bar were great.

The ship was nice although a bit hard to find your way through the third and fourth floors. The decor was a little dark but nice.
