Carnival Freedom

14 Night Panama Canal Carnival Journeys (Galveston Roundtrip)

Sail date: October 28, 2017

Ship: Carnival Freedom

Cabin type: Oceanview

Traveled as: Couple

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Review summary

Huge percentage of Platinum & Diamond cruisers. Hard to get preferential treatment that way. Panama Canal was interesting for about 20 minutes. Nothing much to see. Much more fun last time on the ground. Dinner choices were less than spectacular. Two weeks is a long time.

Better you than me, cruises17. (If you can complain about anything, while on a 14 day cruise, wow.)

I was on same cruise.. had a bunch of old rude people. would rather be on cruise with kids.

They were complaining no preference treatment .. as they chose to travel with different cruise companies thats why they have not received platinum or diamond.. its there decisions but you can not then complain about it ...

Thanks for the info

Sounds like I should look at the Journey

JGriff, just speculating, but prob because they are much longer, more expensive itineraries. Also, typically few children onboard Journeys cruises. The Panama Canal cruise that Freedom returned from last week had less than 40 children onboard.

Why do the Journey cruises have more P & D quests ? TIA

The Journeys cruises always have a lot of diamond/platinum guests. That's why FTTF is not offered.
