Review summary

Will not ever book another Carnival cruise. There are cruise lines that are much better. I go for quality over quantity. It would take something exceptional for me to book with Carnival again.

Food often came out cold and not what the description indicated.it was like eating in a diner not fine dining.other than water stuff

Other than water activities there was not much I liked. Most seminars ended with a sales pitch.

Except for one comedians not funny. Most of the music was too loud all over the ship. Not many stage shows and those they had were not professional.

Land and sea tour. Sea portion was very good. Land portion was awful. Sellers of stuff were in your face and would not take no for an answer.

Yes It is We usually go to SE Asia every winter as my wife is from there and thought we should try a cruise.

ididit While I agree with most of your comment I don't believe one or two reviews from people like the poster above will scare away newbies When the newbies, me included , see that 95%-99% reviews are good I'm sure they will cruise

@jgriff you are correct and I agree, but this app is for those who enjoy cruises and reviews like this can/ will scare away those first timers who use this app to research. Opinions are one thing, but flat out trashing an entire cruise line because it’s not up to one persons standards is not what this app is about. We all have given our opinions here, yet reviews like this are an insult to those who enjoy Carnival or any other cruise line that people like this chose to belittle or insult. This person has written only one review in which they did not use the words awful or slums. Poor review 👎🏾

Well rosemariermac, it appears that you did no research prior to your cruise. It's hard to believe that it was as bad as you say. I will be on my 3rd cruise in March and the 4th in May. All on Carnival, I have yet to have a bad experience on the first two and don't expect it now. Just don't cruise anymore, you probably would be better of staying home and waiting on yourself. Since no one but you can meet your expectations and then you probably will fall short doing it yourself.

This will our second on Freedom and 8 th on Carnival. Never had a bad anything but never expected to be treated like royalty. Will stick with Carnival till we have a bad one. We sail in 61 days

Our first cruise was on Freedom and it was awesome. People like this I can not understand, you stated room was not clean enough? What does that mean? You spoke about the food, hope you understand you are on a ship! And from everything I’ve found... Carnival has the best food. Did you do the steak house? Guess no since it was extra. Music too loud?

Some people just like to complain.Our 1st cruise was on Freedom in September.We loved it so much,we are booked on the Breeze Dec.10th.Carnival is great.

Was this your first cruise. Also I agree if your looking for 5 Star meals and service you should start looking at luxury lines but expect to pay $3500-7000 per person per week.
