The train ride in Key West is cheaper to buy on the ship. A couple from our ship said they paid 20pp to ride. In KW they tried to charge us 29pp, however they ended up giving it to us for 20pp after we told them that our ship was only charging 20pp. The ride was awesome and informative! A must do
I wouldn't bother getting an ocean view since the visibility through the window is very poor. This ship is so old that it only has balconies on the Suites.
If you are traveling with kids, make sure you check your bill before you leave. They charge $64 per person (including 2 year olds) for gratuity. I had guest services remove that because it is not fair. I also had them remove the gratuity for the dining room because we never used it. So adjust it
In Nassau we didn't do an excursion. We went sight seeing when we got off the ship. We were able to see the Forts, the Chocolatier, the rum distillery. Everything is within walking distance from ship. Even a free beach. Lots of things to do and see.
Do excursions don't try to do tours on your own. Freeport is a waste of time unless you go to private beach. Nassau was scary and overrated. Will not return there. Staff was awesome. Go to comedy shows. The day we left was the most hectic getting off the ship needs to be better.

If you are a first time cruiser you may want to consider a little bigger ship. I have been on 4 other ships and this one was very rocky. Weather was beautiful.
Best to stay on the ship in Freeport. There is nothing to do, and the hop on/off bus was a waste of money.
Unless you go to the beach which we didn't have enough time in port to do that.
