Review summary

First, We loved the Serenity Deck. 24 hrs of relaxing music and 2 hot tubs on the back deck. Spent much time relaxing and reading there.

Second, loved the shows. Well done and entertaining with great performers. Very professional.

Third, the food was always delicious at every restaurant and buffet.

Fourth, Kevin, the cruise director, was so lively, fun and engaged with all of the passengers and crew.

The entire staff was accommodating and hard working.

The only disappointment,  the stop in Freeport. There is so many visible decaying buildings and trash everywhere. It was depressing! However, knowing that the main industry is tourism, I felt compelled to spend money on the island.

We will definitely cruise on the Elation again!

We had porthole windows. Nice to have sunlight. The room was sized just fine for a couple.

Ship tip

If you have walkie-talkies, bring them so you can keep in contact on the ship since it is very expensive to use the ship's cellular system.

Taxi tour of the island is very depressing. The shopping area is OK but many places were closed on Sunday.

That is definitely the perfect job for Kevin. He is so good at his job! So much fun.

I know she's an older smaller ship but I love the elation to. Kevin is a hoot. Freeport needs a president or prime minister or some leader to fix the island better for tourist, and I'm not talking about the hurricane. I loved the entertainment. good review

Don't forget Freeport was hit with a cat 4 hurricane this past fall. Otherwise, in the past the island was not trashed.
