Review summary

Overall I believe the cruise was good. We went with our 2 year old and there wasn't much for him to do which is why we chose the cruise with only one day at sea. The food was decent, but be prepared to only drink lemonade because that's all they have to drink (unless you paid extra for soda). They only have one pool and it's not that big so it was mostly used by teenagers. Don't bother buying any internet package because you won't be able to get any wifi connection anywhere on board. Buy the water package online before your cruise so it's waiting for you in your room because that's another thing you won't find on board, bottled water.

The food selection was pretty good. Not many choices though.

The cabins were a little more spacious than I expected so that was good.

Ship tip

If you are traveling with kids, make sure you check your bill before you leave. They charge $64 per person (including 2 year olds) for gratuity. I had guest services remove that because it is not fair. I also had them remove the gratuity for the dining room because we never used it. So adjust it

their beverage choices are clearly listed on website. shouldn't have been a surprise.

If you're opposed to soda or don't want too bother bringing your own you can also bring flavorings for water. Easy to pack in carry on, purse or suitcase. Where some don't like the tap water on the ship we've never had an issue with drinking or using it to mix flavored drinks.

There's the bubbles drink package you can buy & there's Camp Carnival, Night Owls & Suess activities for 2 year olds. We buy water bottles from the bar, sparkling water in the dining room, & buy a case for our room. Hope this info helps for your next cruise!

There is plenty of free options. Water, tea, lemonade, coffee, milk, juice.... You can even bring your own soda or juice onboard with you.

The beverage situation is like that with all of the cruise lines. They have free lemonade, iced tea, and water on Lido and the Main Dining rooms and usually have a beverage package for everything else. You can also get free juice during breakfast bourse. For bottled water they sell it at the bars if you don't order by the case but you can even get a case on board through your room stewards put it's a couple of dollars more if you don't get in prior to sailing.
