clean, easy to get around, great food, service and entertainment

i was impressed by the people i loved the entertainment...!

I was not as pleased with this cruise as I was my last cruise. Everything was for sale. The only thing free was the meals and the room. The room was not adeqate. No view.

Ship was fine. didn't have any problems.

Clean ship, friendly Staff, food was not very good

The Elation is very clean, spacious rooms. It would be nice to have a walk around deck or deck chairs in a shaded area.

Everything was great, the service excellent

The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The cruise itself did not hold much to do for my 10 y.o. outside of pool and food. My room was very difficult to sleep in and particles could be seen floating around and I had to cover my head with robe and quilt to keep particles from going up my nose. This made for unpleasant, long nights and difficult sleep. I can't say I am interested in another Carnival Cruise. This was disaapointing. I was given a robe with stains and a dirty washcloth hung in my stateroom for my new towels to be used. Unsanitary.

It was a great cruise and had a lot of fun would suggest staying in port at least overnight at one port sometimes because more could be done if had more time.

The food was not great, the shows were pretty amature, and the only activities that we were really interested in cost a good bit extra. We were hounded constantley to buy drinks and I felt like I was being followed by paparzzi because at every turn they were trying to get us to take pictures which were outrageously priced.

If you like to eat, drink, and watch really hokey shows, then you might like this cruise, but not me. We were at sea for a day and a half, then we only got 5 hours in Cozumel before we had to back on board for another day and a half of ocean, ocean, ocean. Then we arrived home (the best part)!

The way the ship is kept clean, and how the crew works to ensure everything is down right for the passenengers

They were 7 hours late boarding to begin with and the staff in the port area where we had to wait was extremely rude. We were fed the most awful food we have ever had and forced to stay at the convention center for 6 hours. The cruise line made no effort to try to make up for the time that was lost or in any way make up for the awful experience. We will never cruise with carnival again.

We were treated like royalty for the entire cruise.

Loved this trip. Great when you only have a few days vacation.!! Like the Port of Mobile! Easy on and Easy off.

the ship is apparently due for another renovation on its decor / Although, The last time I traveled on Carnival on the Elation (its decor) was totally different _ I was surprise to hear _ Apparently they go in for renovations when in dry dock. and the Elation is set up for yet another overhaul. / The rooms however are still outdated and not very high scale (I was afterall staying in the V36) the VIP SUITES .... surprised they were not PLUSH... Veranda Deck FLOOR 11 is suppose to be the MUST DO... location for a cabin / Not So Impressed

Friendliness of the staff

Recent cruise on the Carnival Elation, first time on Carnival. It was a spring break time cruise so ship was loaded (probably overloaded, ship was streched to the max) with a young crowd many teens and families. Ship seemed to handle the kids well. Our groups one problem was we had a group of 10 girls, 2 of which were 17, the 17 year olds could not get into the 18 and up areas and the 18's could not get into the 15-17 club area. The ship had very limited areas the girls could hang out together with music. Overall condition and atmoshphere on ship was average, food was average. Deck was crowded on days at sea, sport deck with bent rim on the basketball court was used but seemed like questionable use of deck space. Rooms and showers larger than expected, although when tv was turned on it came on to loud static everytime, very annoying. Ship does not have a level where you can walk around the entire ship
