Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Suite

The Elation is very clean, spacious rooms. It would be nice to have a walk around deck or deck chairs in a shaded area.

Pros: Rooms spacious, dancers put on a very good show

Cons: Most narrow balcony ever! Poor evening entertainment and ports

Recommends Carnival Elation? Yes!

Ship Quality
Service and Staff
Cabin / Stateroom
Staterooms are spacious, we had a wonderful steward who did a fantastic job!
Food and Dining
Dining room staff are very helpful and try to please. Food was okay not usually hot but lukewarm. The variety could be better.
Entertainment
Typical silly contests during the day and they were okay and I am sure fun for first time cruisers but evening shows were lacking with the exception of the dancers show.
Cozumel, Mexico
Calica, Mexico
Why do they even go here? There is nothing! You can see Cozumel from the ship. There are no shops or beaches to go to unless you take a taxi. The excursions were not good, the cave dive has bats swooping at you !
