Enjoyed the cruise but a bit more sleazy feel than elegant feel to the experience. Entertainment was a bit redundant, would have liked more variety in the entertainment options. Also, this ship did not have quiet places where one could go to read and relax -- the library was used a waiting area for dining room and/or booked with private parties.

The cruise with Carnival was awesone and everything was excellent with staff, friendliness, cleanliness. The food was delicious. The director of Elation was awesome. The director Kevin done an amazing job, thank you

This was my third cruise. I have cruised on Holland America, Princess and now Carnival. This Carnival was the worst cruise and if it had been my first, it would have been my last. I feel bad to say that because of the staff on the Elation. The staff on the Elation was the one excellent experience of this cruise! I am hopeful that this information will encourage Carnival to clean (top to bottom) the Elation, repair elevators and other items and to dock this ship until finished and inspected by an independent organization.

Overall for the money still a good value. Buffet food is decent, always plenty of chairs on the decks to relax, and the Adult Only Serenity deck was awesome--super quiet and relaxing. We lucked out and had great weather in Freeport and Nassau and definitely enjoyed our beach day excursions that we had booked outside of the ship. Skip the dining room. Also, the people that were on this cruise generally seemed to lack polite behavior... people were extremely loud in the halls in the evening (after 11PM) and I found some people just to be generally rude to the staff, especially during the disembarkation process. I would likely not book another cruise out of JAX, but go to another port instead.

It was wondeful and fantastic first experience. Kids & adults had wonderful experience. The Majic show by Manoj was very engaging. It would be nice,if we can make the sides of the ship,little kids safe.

Disappointed that the Elation did not have more to offer the passengers. Did enjoy the program to celebrate the Veterans on Veteran's Day. But usually promote Carnival and now not so sure, it just didn't measure up to all the others I have been on.

It was great meeting new people. They made the cruise for us! I would have liked the ship to be cleaner and especially the gym. They offered a lot to choose from for the entertainment.

Overall this cruise is highly recommended. 5 days is perfect, 4 not enough and 7 is little to much. Well, I guess I have to put 150 characters to complete this .....

I had a wonderful cruise. It was my second time taking this exact same cruise 2 years in a row. Love how thrifty it is, and I loved the renovations. I also love the cruise director Kevin. I will likely go again next year again!

We loved this cruise! We love sea days, so having one in the beginning and end works perfectly for us. We like the smaller ships so we don't have to fight long lines, etc. - and we don't have to walk a day and a half to get from one end of the ship to the other! :-) Guy's Burgers and the Cantina was a really nice addition, and we definitely enjoyed them! Looking to book our next one!

I had a blast on my first cruise. The only three thing I believe need to be improved upon. The ventilation in the casino for those of us who do not smoke, the food options for vegans, and music selections during guess the song 70s, 80s, 90s.

The food was ok nothing great. The ship was in good condition. The crew was friendly. Departure was the worse experience I have had in my sailing history. I have 13 trips on Carnival.

I’ve done several carnival cruises in the past and they are always a great time! This was the first ever cruise for my boyfriend and we are planning for another very soon! We had an incredible time and can not wait to do it again!

Spent this cruise for my 6th anniversary with my lady. The staff made this cruise memorable and there was just so much positivity walking around the ship. I can’t thank the crew enough!!

We are ready to book again!! This was a great experience, from A to Z. We absolutely loved the room. We felt closer to the water on deck six than with other cruises. And the room was spacious enough to feel like a home away from home. AND minimal motion. We slept like babies. So we are ready for our next Carnival Cruise!! Christmas?

Ship was coming out of dry dock - we never knew any of this. We did not get on the ship the first day until 9:30P with 2500 other passengers. AWFUL.

I was not impressed overall with this cruise. We are going to try other cruise lines to see if they are different. The overall experience left a bad taste in my mouth...

we did not have a great first experience. I don't know that we will be sailing with carnival again. unless its awhile from now, with a different ship.

as for our time we did have a good time. we spent Tuesday night in the Blue Iguana and our bartender, Ordalis was AWESOME, so much fun and it was my daughter in laws birthday, he knew how to entertain and serve.

The seas were rough, but I liked it, it rocked me to sleep. Slept later, than I ever do, at home. The ports were beautiful and the weather was good. The ice cream machine was broken almost the entire time and that aggravated my husband. He says he doubts he will ever go on another.
