Review summary

The food was ok nothing great. The ship was in good condition. The crew was friendly. Departure was the worse experience I have had in my sailing history. I have 13 trips on Carnival.

The food was good but not great, not a large choice of entre's, very repetitive during the 5 night dinners. Very few choices of vegetables with meals on lido deck.

very pleasant. as a VIFP member, I did not receive all perks that other members got ie chocolates, cookies and a bottle of wine/champg. I did get the wheel pin and insulated cups.

Disembarkation

By being a Priority Sailor, we were to receive consideration for getting off ship at Jacksonville. We were told to be at our desig. area @ 7:30 am. We would be in the first group to get off and go through customs. We got off ship in about 30 minutes, but had to wait in a holding area for 1.5hrs. were not able to get luggage because our #1 group of luggage was not unloaded. With all other passengers leaving ahead of us and getting their luggage we had to stand in line for customs for an extended time. Conditions were very poor and stressful for many of us seniors. I will think twice before I will sail out of Jacksonville again. I have departed this port of 2 other occasions. The cruise line and Port did not have their act together. My wife and myself came out of customer service. There was no customer service, It was a Joke.

I had an amazing time doing everything the most important thing was being able to make wonderful memories with my son and daughter in law on their first cruise. I have nothing bad to say abouy trip other than disembarking
