Review summary

I wouldn't recommend this cruise line to no one. I was not impressed. More or less disappointed that this was my first cruise. I expected to have the time of my life, but all I did was sleep and eat. That's pretty much all they had available for you to do at all times.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
It was good for what it was. I liked the buffet experience.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
You get tired of eating the same food every day and nothing is seasoned.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Not a lot to do for people aged 21-35.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The comedy show and their 90's party was lit.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
The room stewards were awesome! The waiters are terrible, don't expect a whole lot from them. They have basic knowledge of serving.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
It was pretty clean for the most part except for the dishes you eat with. Watch out for dirty glasses of water cause on two occasions my drinks had something floating in them.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
Our room was next to a supply closet and all through the early morning and late at night, we could hear employees going in and out of the closet waking us up out of our sleep sometimes.

Ship tip

Watch out for the automatic gratuity on your account. It'll easily add up to over 100 dollars if you don't pay attention.

Loved this port. It drops you off right in the heart of downtown.

Did this cruise in Oct, booked same cruise again in two weeks. There is a lot of activity going onboard for those who want to take part. We were going all the time and didn't get to half the activities.

My husband took me on my first cruise last year on the Fantasy and it was awesome we went to the comedy acts every night, watched the shows, played bingo and trivia. It was a blast. I can't wait to get on our next cruise on the elation in 22 days

I love the Elation (our first carnival Cruise ship)!! There's always something happening on Lido, cool shows, and great comics...just to name a few things.

I am looking forward to going in February! We went on the Splendor the past July, it was a blast as well!

Had an Absolute blast on the Elation!!! I couldn't get to everything that the ship offered!

Doing nothing more than eating and sleeping were your personal choices. Perhaps if you had stayed awake a little more, you could have read the daily itinerary and planned activities for yourself!

That sounds like you did not do research for yourself and last cruise I took we had a group from age of 22 to 80 and we all had a blast so it’s what you make it!

Cruisin isn't for everyone. If you're not the type of person that can create fun in any environment and you look for everyone else to do it for you. you'll definitely just eat and sleep on a cruise ship.

Definitely a troll. 😆

We loved the Elation and that was before it was refurbished!!! Always something to do you just have to loom at fun times and pick something, really simple!!!

Perhaps you should try knitting.
