Review summary

Disappointed that the Elation did not have more to offer the passengers. Did enjoy the program to celebrate the Veterans on Veteran's Day. But usually promote Carnival and now not so sure, it just didn't measure up to all the others I have been on.

Food was not up to Carnivals normal, poor quality and quantity, even when paid extra $20 for special menu. Was promised in a letter that we would all be together for the early seating only to find out upon arrival that we were all put on the late seating and unfortunately a few because of medical reasons could not eat that late, we could only part of our party moved to that time so consequently we were separated from the rest of our family and a couple of nights chose to eat on Lido deck. Very upsetting and disappointed.

There basically was none. Cruise director tried very hard to include passengers in different areas of the ship to play trivia games.

I have found plenty of things to do. But I understand that not everything appeals to everyone. I love the band in the drama bar, I always enjoy dukes piano bar, trivia, game shows, q and a with Kevin, etc

Agreed I have never spent so much time in my room with nothing to do was not fun

Also, dining assignments are not guaranteed it is simply a request.

So there was no nightly entertainment in the show room, comedy club or piano bar?? Find that hard to believe.

To be seated all together at dinner you have to link your booking with there's and vice versa so when the Maitre D does the seating assignments they will seat you together.
