overall if you are going to relax this was a great options and that's what we did. However the food options very few and very limited.

My very first cruise and a horrible overall experience. There were many other passengers there who informed a lot of us not to be discouraged as they are regular cruises and this experience was the worse for them as well. I have never been in one location with so many unhappy customers! We are definitely due some sort of refund I will be officially complaining at another time

After the rocking and rolling of this cruise and missing both scheduled ports of call made this my first and last carnival cruise will look at a different cruise next time!!!!

We have filed a complaint to the cruise line for a full refund of the cruise, they did provide us a refund of $50 per person, per port missed. This is not enough. Yes we did eat, and pay for drink package. I spend a lot of money in the casino due to boredom. The cruise was rocking to a point were they were handing out seasickness pills for free. I would say 75% of people were sick. My partner included, he was sick in bed for a day and a half. I was sick when I got home. The decision not to sail again was the talk of the cruise ship, It was very disappointing, this is my 5 cruise and never has it been so bad till now. Even a free cruise would be a option that I would consider, they need to make it right.

Ship broke down at sea and did not make it to either port!!!

This was mine and my families and friends first cruise....It was so disappointing. The pool was broken,the food was OK but not great. We missed both ports because of ship issues, and we only received $100 for losing out on that. When were finally let off in the Bahamas, we only had four hours to do anything. I have called Carnival to officially complain as well as my family and friends...and it pretty much was...oh well you got all you are going to get from us. The sea sickness was the high light though...I'm all about giving second chances to places, but at this point I would rather book a vacation at Chernobyl than ever go on Carnival again...might have a better time there!

It was the cruise to nowhere. Horrible seasickness plus missing the ports, made this a not so pleasant trip.

Between the horrible rocking, sea sickness, loud mechanical noises AND 2 missed ports, this cruise was so much of a bad experience that I am considering shying away from further cruises.

The cruise wasn’t what I expected the I like the interior and everything but the staff on the cruise was very unprofessional I mean none of the staff or attentive except our room attendant he was very nice to us and he did a good job cleaning.

I've said so much already! I would cruise this ship again, but the alone time with my new husband I was grateful for...

By far this was one of the best cruises I have ever been on. I will definitely be back on this ship

Good embarkation. Crew friendly and professional. Cabin Steward the worst I've ever had. Food was hit/miss in terms of quality. Main shows had awful terrible singers, but the production and dancing was excellent. Disembarkation super disorganized and took over 3 hours. Probably my last cruise with Carnival.

This was my first time going on a cruise. I enjoy self. I'm going again.

Had a great time. Was a New Years cruise. They really know how to celebrate New Years. Free champagne, noise makers, and a grand countdown. Happy New Year.

The cruise was fun. I met alot of great people who I will keep in touch .

This was my family's first cruise together. The Elation is a great ship but it is a bit older which has it's own challenges. If I would have researched a bit more, I would have booked 2 cabins (one with 2 teenage girls is a little too small) but we were all able to sleep comfortably. Adding the drink packages (Bottomless Bubbles and CHEERS!) saved a lot of money and was well worth it during the 5 days. The meal selections were very nice and well prepared. The ports of call were really nice. Our favorite was Grand Turk which has a wonderful beach area and a poolside next to Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville which was very convenient. In both ports, the food was a bit expensive but was expected. Onboard Elation, our director, Jen was fantastic and our stateroom stewart, Arnold, was very helpful and did an awesome job. We cruised during the Christmas holiday and the ship was decorated very nicely and there were a lot of activities for the family. The shows were really nice and the dancers were awesome. My 6 year old enjoyed hanging out at the kids only area but my 2 teenagers were fine with just hanging out poolside and enjoying the buffets and just relaxing. I would say the only downside was the stateroom was too small and the toilet has a funny smell just because of the system that is used onboard. Other than that, we look forward to booking our next cruise with Carnival.

We took our kids on the Caribbean cruise for Christmas we had a great experience and so much family time. There was so much to do we weren’t able to do it all. We loved our trip and would highly recommend this trip.

I enjoyed the cruise, even though, unfortunately, the weather was not so good. I was not very happy about the arrangement for food on the Lido Deck, but I enjoyed the Imagination Restaurant's food and drinks with a great server (Godfrey). The breakfast on the very last day in Imagination was not good and I had a terrible server (Alexus).

I was pleased with the experience for myself and my Childrens first cruise experience. Would recommend for any family wanting to take kids on a cruise. Any longer would be too much.
