Between the horrible rocking, sea sickness, loud mechanical noises AND 2 missed ports, this cruise was so much of a bad experience that I am considering shying away from further cruises.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We arrived before our designated time and we were able to get straight on without any setbacks.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Not a fan of the main dining room. Seemed very slow paced. Sat with another family on formal night. They were offered desert but not us.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We managed to participate in the Hasboro Game Show. Dr Seuss Parade, Storytime and Breakfast, as well as 2 games of Bingo and the child Scavenger Hunt.
Entertainment
Never made it to any if the shows
Children's Programs
3 out of 5
She enjoyed her time with Dr Seuss. Did not participate in the child club.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Our steward was great but another member in our party had a situation with her steward. End result was to complain at customer service.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
I was able to navigate this ship very well. Can only give 3 stars because my floor smelled like sewage the entire trip.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
If you plan on sailing with more than 2 adults, recommend additional rooms. We managed but it was a tight fit. Room is only good for a couple or couple and child. Got what we paid for.
Ship tip
Don't do it. Wait until it has been recorded that this boat has had time to get maintenaned or else you may be wasting money. Or if you're going to sail maybe just try a different ship.
Carnival is denying that it did not port because it needed maintenance. Carnival blamed this 2nd missed port on wind, yet another ship came right behind us and docked. The boat was making disturbing noises the night before this port.
Other people at your table were offered desert but you weren’t? Doesn’t seem right. Sorry about your cruise experience but there are few guarantees in any travel and we just have to take the good with the bad... Good luck in your future travels...
