Met our needs by EllenB1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Nice ship-tad bit difficult going from floor to floor around the dining rooms. Generally met it's purpose of a relaxing week. The cruise line needs to find new shore excursions for us frequent sailors.

Paradise on water by TammyC5

Sail date: /
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We took this cruise for our 30th wedding anniversary and it was our first cruise. Wow! We loved it so much. The ocean view / balcony room was the absolute BEST! The servers on the ship were fabulous!WE sailed on the Conquest and hope to travel with them again! I do wonder about the 70.00 per person gratituity and would really like to know specifically where it goes. At the end of the cruise we were encouraged by the cruise director to tip those who had done a good service to show our gratitude. Well we were served well and wanted to do this (and did) but it gets very expensive after you had already been charged for tips, activities on the ship, shore excursion, etc. It ended up being MUCh more expensive than we had planned for.

Great Cruise Experience by GayleB3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The ship was massive. You get the overwelming feeling that it is just huge, and not sure it will float. The staff on the ship were all great. The towel animals were nice to see in our rooms everynight. A great first cruise for my husband and I.

We had a balcony room, I could never have anything else now. I recommend that you pay the extra for the Balcony,

My cruise to jamaica, cayman, cozumel by ShantayB

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I have nothing bad to say . It was my first cruise and it exceeded my expectations. I would definitley cruise again with carnival. I think carnival should consider the gratuity amount placed on the sail and sign cards when you have a couple. My husband and I are one so 70.00 for the both of us to me was reasonable. I think 140.00 just for gratuity set aside in addition to gratuities each time you order a acholic beverage is a bit much.

Exceeded all Expectations by Kathryn1

The ship was cleaner and nicer than I expected. We bought a cheap cabin and it was really nice (small but nice). The public areas were expansive and again clean.

This Cruise is a MUST!! by JoannaH

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We recently embarked upon our first cruise and headed to the Western Caribbean aboard the Carnival Conquest. Oh my goodness, what a fantastic trip. The ship was amazing. We chose a cabin with a balcony and it was worth every penny. Waking up to the sunrise across the beautiful ocean and watching the sunset with a glass of wine on your own private balcony is priceless. The amenities on the ship were endless - I was exhausted just reading about everything you could see, do and participate in. The staff were all fantastic without exception and there wasn't anything they couldn't do for you. The choice of food was remarkable, we ate in every restaurant from the buffet to the elite "Point Supper Club" and we were never disappointed. Jamaica was our first stop - don't be put off by the organized chaos at the port - the Jamaicans are very vivacious! We chose horse riding at the Braco Estate - how many people can say they have ridden bare back in the Caribbean? Next stop was Grand Cayman where Stingray City is a must see and finally Cozumel where we enjoyed Paradise Beach and some parasailing. My main advice would be to try to find out where everything is on the ship as soon as you can so you don't waste time walking between the forward and the aft looking for where you want to be! Take advantage of the wine package if you enjoy a bottle of wine with your dinner and look over the itinerary they prepare for you daily to make the most of what's on offer. I highly recommend this cruise and all it has to offer - thank you Carnival!

Great ship, very clean, had all the necessary amenities. We were able to get 2 rooms with shared doorway for the kids to go back and forth. Both rooms had very comfortable beds and sleeper beds for the kids. We all had plenty of room.

A Great Cruise by ColleenH2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Please make smoking not allowed on private decks. Or just put the smoking cabins on one floor. We could not use the deck as much as we would have liked to. The people smoked on both sides of us. Also if you are going to have a dress up night please don't let anyone in the dining room without at least a dress shirt on. We were dressed to the nines. But there were some in shorts and tee shirts. So the second dress up night we did not go.
