The ship had a very closed in feel to it: low ceilings and way to much "stuff". The crew was top notch, the food was very good (make sure you go to the speciality restaurant). Weather forced a change of plans which was very disappointing, but not the fault of the crew or cruise line.

the ship was great. only complaint was that the room wasnt what i had thought i booked. it stated it was either twin or full size but when we arrived it was bunk beds. and the room couldnt be changed. i'm way too old to be climbing into bunk beds. everything else was excellant.

We were highly pleased with the staff, the food, the concern for our safety, the cleanliness. Everything exceeded our expectations!

We loved eating each night at the elegant Renoir dining room. Paul the Cruise Director was a great and hilarious host. The food was spectacular in all the different dining areas. The shows and activities were entertaining each day. The staff was always willing to help out and make sure you were having a wonderful time. Excursions were well planned and adventurous.

Carnival Conquest is somewhat smaller than other ships I've been on, however, ship decor and amenities were comparable to others. Cabins and some public areas are in a slight need of refurbishing soon. Entertainment was average; comedy was best. Dining was pretty good. Buffet was average. Overall, this ship was OK. The amount of passengers was perhaps a bit too much, especially the amount of kids and teenagers running around. This is a good ship for a family trip but not so much for couples looking to relax.

I recommend it in about six months when the staff changes. We had WONDERFUL wait staff at dinner and an AWESOME stateroom attendent. The rest of the staff for the most part was rude and unhelpful. This has not been my experience on the first 2 Carnival cruises I took. The staff turns over every six months so it will probably get better.

Carnival's price point is to deliver a cruise at a low cost - at this they did succeed! However with a few minor improvements they could have also delivered more on quality and value rather than a singular price point. All issues with crowds - embarkation, lounges, dinner seatings etc., were incredibly poorly handled. My wife and daughter's second cruise (Norwegian Star) and my first, but we will definately try a different cruise line for our next one.

Ship needs remodeling as the beds are lumpy and the bathrooms smell like urine.

Overall, the cruise met my expectations and I felt it was a great value for what you got. As someone not traveling with children, I would probably book my next trip when they were back in school. I know it would be a great vacation for a family on a budget and there were a lot of small children running around.

Clean rooms, good service, staff very friendly and helpful. Food good and plentiful. Gym was wonderful.

The food was good at first but then nothing is new. We ate pretty much the same food every day

Ship staff could not be better. Dining room food is excellent. Buffet is horrible. Room noise at night woke deaf 86 year old whose hearing aides were removed. That bad.

A good vacation for family for a week.

The ship itself was spectacular. It was our first cruise and even though it will be my only cruise, it was a fantastic experience. I think that I personally would better spend my money on a different kind of vacation in the future, I felt taken adavatage of when a price was put that I was autoatically charged daily for gratuities and then charged 15% for everything purched on the ship. I received wonderful service, had I been given the option of what and when to tip, I would have gladly done it generously.

We really wanted to spend our vacation money wisely so we decided on a cruise. It was the best decision were ever made. The ship was great and the staff was excellent! They are some of the most hard working people I've seen. The trip was so great, we didn't have any complaints the whole 7 days!

Cons: 1.) The pools were way to small, 2.) mainly 2 stores made up their "mall" or "fun shops," 3.) The activities or shows were of very low quality, something you'd expect at a slumber party, 4.) Constantly being pestered to take photos or purchase drinks 5.) saddest cup of coffee ever seen 6.) "Ice cream bar" consists of 2 flavors with the option of cone or cup 7.) One outlet plug in room, 8.) no iron or ironing table Pros: 1.) Room/bathroom was of good size, 2.) room service 2x daily, 3.) toiletries provided w/out cost, 4.) Free safe use, 5.) 24hr pizzeria, 6.) Tea Time is a must try, 7,) Comedic Shows, 8.) folded animal towels, 9.) great views, 10.) very organized on embarkation days, landing days, debarkation days, 11.) staff is very helpful and always one call away

Our waiters were AMAZING!!!!!! Our room crew did a great job too!!!! Loved the basketball and voleyball courts there for the kids to enjoy The running track was great too!!!
