Good times overall

Sail Date: August 07, 2011

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Carnival Conquest is somewhat smaller than other ships I've been on, however, ship decor and amenities were comparable to others. Cabins and some public areas are in a slight need of refurbishing soon. Entertainment was average; comedy was best. Dining was pretty good. Buffet was average. Overall, this ship was OK. The amount of passengers was perhaps a bit too much, especially the amount of kids and teenagers running around. This is a good ship for a family trip but not so much for couples looking to relax.

Pros: Dining food, comedy entertainment, ports of call

Cons: Rowdy kids and teenagers

Recommends Carnival Conquest? Yes!

Food and Dining
Cabin / Stateroom
Cabins are in need of some refurbishing.
Entertainment
Entertainment was somewhat subpar and geared mostly towards families with kids and teenagers. Adult comedy sessions were pretty good though.
Ship Quality
Service and Staff
Our stateroom steward and our preferred dining room waiting staff was very attentive and nice.
Montego Bay, Jamaica
Cozumel, Mexico

Don't Miss: Mayan ruins are a must-see!
George Town, Grand Cayman
Very nice, crystal clear beaches with white sands! Very clean port of call.
Don't Miss: Turtle watching, dolphins, beach
