Review summary

It was a journeys cruise with a great itinerary. There were over six hundred diamond guests and over 1200 diamond guests. The cruise was a more expensive cruise and the ship was full of loyal guests. Carnival thought it would be a great idea to assign a sub standard ship with, in my opinion, sub-par entertainment. I will definitely choose cruises with a better ship next time.

We had a balcony cabin. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The air duct blew cold air but was the noisiest ice ever had with vibrations and rattles. The balcony door didn't latch shut.

Ship tip

Find a different ship. The staff and crew were great. Karl the hotel director was everywhere taking care of whatever needed addressed. The ship is old and probably not worth refurbishing.

We were on this cruise as well. Funny, our balcony door wouldn't stay shut either. Entertainment by the playlist group was nonexistent. Our food was good, but MDR was very slow. Usually 2 hours each night. Thankfully we had great tablemates. Ports were amazing! Love journey cruises.

We were on the same cruise. We agree the entertainment was lacking. Our ocean view cabin was pretty nice, even as it showed its age.

Excellent itinerary. I was on the cruise before and the cruise after and it’s sad to see this ship in such a sad state. Karl is a really nice guy!
