Bloody linen on bed by Tamika

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Breeze / Destination: Caribbean

We booked two staterooms.  Cabin 1 was for me and my husband.  Cabin 2 our daughters.  Once we arrived to our staterooms one of my daughters decided to rest a while before embarkation.  This is when she noticed bloody linen on her bed.  Immediately she stated, “I’m not sleeping in here this is disgusting, I’m sleeping in your room”.  Although the Carnival staff changed the linen, my daughters felt uneasy sleeping in the room.  She questioned, how do we know these are clean?  I found this experience to be very disappointing especially since this was a new ship.

Derwins Review by Atlantacruiser7

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Breeze / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

Food was execellent--love the variety and food choices--Guy's burger joint is a hit!  Mexican, Mongolian Wok, Indian food, Caribbean food, Pizza, it was all good!  Plenty of kids were on this cruise(the week of Thanksgiving).  The Comedians were good!  The shows in the main Theatre could have been better--the singers were very limited---not much sight seeing in Turks and Caicos-Dominican Republic beaches were very nice--The ship arrives in Curacao at 2pm and departs at 11pm but they dont tell you that all of the shops downtown near the cruise port close at 6pm so you only have 4 hours for shopping near cruise port--Aruba has v3er nice beaches---taxes were very high on all of these islands!!!  Couldnt get and good prices on liquor off the ship--Derwin

Carnival Breeze was Awesome !!! by kermanvacation

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Breeze / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

We booked this trip last minute due to weather cancelation of our original vacation! Man am I glad we did.  We have always cruised but this time because we were taking our 3 year old we had originally decided to go to an all inclusive.  I am happy that I got really nervous about the weather and canceled less than a week away and booked this ship.  Everything on this ship was nice and new ( only a year old)  We have been on many ships and things are usually outdated, NOT HERE!  Food was as to be expected, plentiful and overall good, Love the addition of Guy's burger bar and the Blue Iguana taco/burrito bar.  Though 1 of my 2 favorite things was CAMP CARNIVAL!!! My daughter absolutely loved it.  We felt really comfortable leaving her in the "teachers" hands.  A few nights when we went to pick her up she said to come back later she was still playing!  That is music to any parents ears when they are also trying to have some time together.  The check in/out process of camp made me feel that she was safe & secure.  We were there for halloween and they even had trick or treating for all the kids with a party after.  They really went over the top for these kids.  That alone would make us book again!   The other favorite part was a soloist singer named Angie Keilhauer!  She was the best.  We went to see her sing everynight in the Red Frog Pub!  She was very knowledgable of so many songs and sang them all amazingly.  She even learned my husband's & my wedding song so she could play it for us as we were celebrating our 10 year anniversary.  She sang it so beautifully!  A father asked her if his daughter could sing her a song, she was so happy to let her, she gave her the guitar and the stage.  You could see the delight and happiness in the girls eyes as she was just learning.  She did great and it was such a kind gesture!  If you are going  on this ship soon, you should not miss seeing Angie in the Red Frog Pub ( the staff there is pretty awesome too)

The waterslides were so much fun... we hardly left.  All in all we had a fantastic time.. Top on our list of cruises we have been on!

Ship did not live up to it's name. by NnatalieT

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Breeze / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

The ship was called the Breeze but the ship did not live up to it's name.  This was my 10th cruise and my 9th  with Carnival.  I found the ship to be cramped with little room to move around.  The food was ok, and the staff in the gift shops was horrible. I am finding that the quality of Carnival cruises is going down. My goal was to try every Carnival ship, but I think my next cruise will be on Royal Caribbean.

Great cruise, nice ship by JoelRaes

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Breeze / Destination: Caribbean

This was my 21st cruise. I am a Gold member for Carnival's club.

This ship was super nice, clean and very modern.

I was VERY dissapointed with the main restaurant dining. Our service

was slow nightly and the food was either not warm enough of simply

not warm at all.

Other then the main dinner dining, everything was EXCELLENT!

totally "suite" Carnival Breezin' cruise by DeniseDarrell

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Breeze / Destination: Caribbean

To celebrate my boyfriend's special birthday, we took the 6-day Caribbean cruise on the Breeze Oct.6-12, 2013.  Fabulous time all round.  My 3rd cruise, his 1st and surely not our last.  We enjoyed so many of the fantastic events and features of Carnival's 2012 launched Breeze.

The variety of activities well into the night, had us on the go...dancing, being entertained or simply racing up the stairs all day long.

The choices of restaurants....hmm..we ran out of days before we got to try all that was offered.  Darrell promises to get to Guy's Burgers sooner than later.  I say, "ok, let's do it!!" lol

One of our favourite new "traditions" was a pizza around midnight followed by a round of mini golf on the highest point of the glorious ship at 2 a.m. during our first night.  We felt like kids!

Our Ocean Suite was superb.  Darrell loved the towel animals that found themselves on our bed each evening....I promptly moved them to the couch across the room. 3's a crowd!!

The only issue we will report was our Cabin Steward, Sergeii.  My previous cruise experiences had the designated cabin steward show up daily, enquiring about our stay and if we had anything that concerned us.  We had nothing to report about our accommodations but we were very disappointed in the fact that the only couple of times that we ran into Sergeii was in the hallway as we crossed paths.  I believe he should have been more visible to have touched base with us.  I will say that the additional "envelope" that we left in the room was definitely for housekeeping and not for the Sergeii.

We are concerned that with his lurking around our room at the time of our vacating the Ocean Suite, he might have taken the "envelope" intended for housekeeping and they would have missed out on our monetary appreciation of being on top of things during our stay.

We are looking forward to doing this all over again....look out waterslides, we are coming back!!

Denise & Darrell

Breeze review by Davidcbrown

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Breeze / Destination: Caribbean

This cruise on the Breeze was easily the most enjoyable one my wife and I have taken recently. The ship was beautiful. The entire staff was very friendly, helpful and efficient. The entertainment was first class and the food plentiful and delicious. One minor complaint--the slots could have been a little looser. Overall a great experience which we hope to repeat as soon as possible.

Everything on the cruise was great, except for the food. This was probably my 5th cruise and I have never experience such bad service and quality of food. On the other hand our room steward was amazing we loved all of the ports.

Once you go Royal stay with Royal by TammyS8

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Breeze / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

For a new ship it has alot to be desired.  The quality just isn't there.  Very cheaply made and not kept up at all.  Carpeting very dirty on stairways and Lido's.  Our stateroom wasn't ready when we arrived.  No towels, bathroom door had toothpaste on it.  Finger prints out outside door and the cabinets inside.  Chocolate under the bed, dust bunnies along the wall.  The workers weren't overly friendly and didn't act like they enjoyed their jobs at all.  Diningroom workers in no hurry to clean up the tabels.  A few times we had to clean off our own.  Food was ok but what they offer for room serve the may as well not do it.  The ports were nice stops.

great getaway on a beautiful ship by Dopey62

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Breeze / Destination: Caribbean

We had a wonderful time on the Carnival Breeze - the ship is absolutely beautiful, the food wonderful, and the staff attentive to our every need.  Special highlights include a large number of trivia games offered daily, afternoon tea on sea days, and Guy's hamburger joint.  Ports of call included Grand Turk (an fantastic place where you literally can step off the boat into the Caribbean Sea!), Jamaica (see details below), and Nassau - I don't know why almost all cruise ships go here but it is a great day for staying on an almost empty ship.

I am pysically disabled and use a travel scooter to get around and I wish that Carnival (and all other lines) provided more assistance to disabled guests - it wasn't until day 5 that I found that the elevator in Cloud 9 spa went up to the adult area Serenity - the maps only show it going to deck 14, not deck 15.  It would also be nice if the cruise lines offered handicap-accessible cruise tours - the only line that I have found to offer such tours is Norwegian when visiting St. Maartin and St. Thomas.  I couldn't book any tours for Ochos Rios as Carnival guest services  couldn't tell me if I would be able to take my travel scooter or how much walking was actually involved so when my sister and I got off the ship, we spoke with the Jamaican tourist office who said the the local tour buses could accomdate my scooter and that we could go to the observation area of Dunn River Falls.  We boarded a tour bus ($20 each) after being assured that they would load the travel scoot only to have it suddenly pull away without doing so - they have jumpseats that fill in every aisle space and they would rather have had paying customers fill these seats than my travel scooter.  The guide kept reassuring me that the travel scooter would be on the bus behind us and not to worry - easier said than done when I couldn't move far without the scooter as my legs.  Everyone on the bus had to wait about 45 minutes for my scooter to finally be brought up to Dunn RIver Falls by taxi and then, after paying $20 each to enter the attraction, my sister and I found that the observation deck is accessible only after a series of stairs and narrow pathways - the guides were very willing to take our money all the while knowing that I would never get close enough to even see the falls.  The day was saved when my sister found a taxi driver who took us to a private resort's beach and then into town for shopping.

With the exception of the $80 mistake in Jamaica, the whole vacation was wonderful.  We have cruised almost all of the major lines and were impressed with Carnval's newest ship, the Breeze.  We are already planning another cruise on this ship!

Not bad, all cruises have their charm, but it could have been better by alexandraromero

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Breeze / Destination: Caribbean

All cruises have their charm. This one was not bad, but I expected a little bit more.  They have a problem with the organization, particulary at the time of dismebarkation.  The food in the restaurant is really good, but the same cannot be said about the buffet, which is closed after 2:00 pm (except for the pizza, sandwiches, and hamburgers, which I do not eat).  The swimming pools are too small for the amount of passengers the've got, so they are always way too crowded.  Besides that, the experience was ok.

This is a beautiful Ship! Had a great time! Food was good Service/Wait staff did a great job Rooms were cleaned every day Destinations were beautiful! My personal favorites were St. Thomas and Puerto Rico While at Sea there were lots of activities planned around the ship for people to choose from. The comedy shows at night were funny. The night shows were good. For the price paid it actually went over my expectations. I will be cruising with Carnival again!

Carnival Breeze Ship by fastandsassy

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Breeze / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

I am not at all satisfied with my Carnival Breeze vacation. The activities were little of nothing. Food on the buffett seemed to be over and over, after 10pm or so you can't get nothing. I ordered room service a simple peanut butter sandwich i NEVER got the sandwich not even a call back to say we're to lazy to fix it we are so unorganized we don't know where the peanut butter is?????? NOTHING was on 10th deck ask for a peanut butter sandwich they told me i had to order room service they didn't do such things. I had to laugh Stephen in the Blush dining room was awesome did everything he could do with what he had to do with. My stateroom cleaner was the best. As far as the food and service terrible I am in a power wheel chair therefore i require special needs?????????? Idon't have brain damage i have a spinal cord injury I booked an excursion to ride the boat that carnival web site clearly says wheel chair accessible NOT got to the boat hot wheelchair accessible. The cruise is over i start down to get in live the lady directing sends me behind a rope and says "stay right here you will be the last to exit" WHAT THE HELL i ask with a smile she walks away by this time i am livid........Does Carnival have a problem with Wheelchairs? Handicapp People? Impaired People? Finally I get Brittany's (DIRECTOR REALLY?) attention ask her for assistance she laughed says everything is moving fine??????? I told her that her worker needed some training she goes over to my aunt and says "mam what are you needing" about 75 of us are rolling laughing at her my God she is a JOKE and trying to direct a ship this is the first time my group of 11 people even saw her where has the unprofessional director been on the whole cruise??? We get to the door one of the sign and sail machines goes down WOW imagine that Brittany is called up her conclusion is (NO PROBLEM just send everybody threw the other side" well lets see now we have about 3000 people trying to switch sides. SORRY CARNIVAL this ship BREEZE needs some serious attention starting with the so called DIRECTOR she can't organize or direct a pack of dogs I am very offended and totally upset and dissatisfied with the cruise. I would have to be in a life and death situation to go on another vacation with Carnival Thank you Jason Miles Lambert

My wedding Cruise by GrandTurkHayes

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Breeze / Destination: Caribbean

This is my 3rd Carnival Cruise and my 2nd time on the Breeze. I was on the Breeze for its Inaugural Season to the Mediterranean. I book this cruise because one of the ports of call was Grand Turk in Turks and Caicos. I got off and got married on the island. My husband and my friends and family had an amazing time of this 6 day cruise. We had 5 first time cruisers on with us and they had a wonderful time. The embarking was easy and staff was friendly and accommodating. This was a trip of a lifetime for us. My only suggestion is for the Cruise line to say something about our marriage.

6 Nights on the beautiful Carnival Breeze by mompots

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Breeze / Destination: Caribbean

What a great ship, the adult area is one of the best around. Venue on the ship was incredible. Liked how everything was easily accessible. They definitely needed a larger area for the Comedy Club - always had to wait in line to get in - then the stampede - but worth the wait. Comedians were excellent. I recommend to everyone to go on this Cruise Ship you will not be disappointed.

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)

Great time, had good food. Enjoyed all the ports. Sugesstion don't charge for all the extra's, every cruise keeps getting extra things, and at the same time starts charging for extra's like soda, ect.
