Review summary

For a new ship it has alot to be desired. The quality just isn't there. Very cheaply made and not kept up at all. Carpeting very dirty on stairways and Lido's. Our stateroom wasn't ready when we arrived. No towels, bathroom door had toothpaste on it. Finger prints out outside door and the cabinets inside. Chocolate under the bed, dust bunnies along the wall. The workers weren't overly friendly and didn't act like they enjoyed their jobs at all. Diningroom workers in no hurry to clean up the tabels. A few times we had to clean off our own. Food was ok but what they offer for room serve the may as well not do it. The ports were nice stops.

We did the under water submarine. It was OK but very crowded and a little hot. Didn't get to see all the fish that they show but was neat to know that we were under water 170 ft. If you are don't like tight quarters then don't do it. Other ports we just took small buses up into the hills and look at the way the island people live and site see and stop at a few places. Alot cheaper then some of the excursions and it was air conditioned ride, alot of the excursions wasn't not air conditioned and it was very hot and humid. Dom Rep was beautiful on the old side. Taxi ride was $7 a person. People on ship went to town and said it was nasty and that cost $5. We don't swim so some stuff we are limited to and my husband had a bad knee we had to baby until we got back for surgery.
