Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We thought the food in the main dining room was very good. We enjoyed all of our meals in the Coral Dining room. We only went to the buffet for breakfast and enjoyed it. The fresh fruit was excellent. The ice cream bar was very good. Drinks were to our liking.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We did not use the pools or fitness center.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The shows we saw were dood. The theater filled up fast so we missed some of the shows. The musicians and DJ's on board were good.
Children's Programs
We were not traveling with kids.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our Room Steward was awesome. He did a very good job in our cabin. He was very friendly. We ate at shared tables in the main dining room (at different tables). All of our waiters did an excellent job. All of the wait staff were vey good.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
This is an older ship but we loved her. No issues witht he design. Some areas were showing her age, but she is still a great ship. No complaints from us. Side note - the ship is going in for a refresh of some common areas the end of October.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Great room location. Cabin was spacious and clean. Nice bathroom. We liked our cabin.
Ship tip
The ship's crew are very friendly and they do a great job.
We had a great shore excursion in this port. We had a very good time touring and learning the history. For all shore excursions we used some from the Princess and some from Shipmate.com. The excursions were picked by what we wanted to see.
In this port of call we did not plan an excursion. We walked off the ship and walked into town, stopping at the castle on our way to town. We walked around town, stopped at a PUB and had a pint. Then we walked back to the ship.
WE toured the country side stopping at a local farm, then onto Loch Ness for a ferry ride to the castle. We then went to McGreggors Pub in Inverness for lunch and whiskey tasting. The Owner gave he history of Scotland, played the fiddle. The food was very good.
Port visit was canceled do to FOG. This excursion was booked through Princess. Once the Port was caneled Princess imediately refunded the money to our Folio,
