Be patient when using the elevators.....be smart and use the stairways. It might help work off some of the pounds you will gain from all of the great food.

Don't be afraid of choosing an older ship in the fleet! The Brilliance is easy to get around, comfortable public areas, great food and service and one of our favorite ships!

We really liked the Park Cafe for afternoon fresh salads & hot beef French dips. Better & less busy than Windjammer buffet for lunches, when not in port.

Go to the Windjammer buffet for breakfast & lunch because if you go to the main dining room, it will take forever. There is more variety at the buffet anyhow Also, if you have an early AM tour, have room service for breakfast. They were always very prompt on the time. Don't forget to give a tip.

The fitness center was always lightly populated, which was nice. We were always able to use our favorite machines without waiting.

The ship had 2200 guests and there were never any lines anywhere for more that a few minutes. You'd never know so many were on board. Get to the evening entertainment in the Pacifica Theater about 15 minutes or more early as it fills up fast. Room service was prompt and delicious (I used for breakfast a few times). Ate at the buffet in the Windjammer for lunch and other breakfast meals as husband loves all the choices and stations for trying new things. I love all the toppings for the oatmeal and the tiny fresh danish and fruits, and their no cal flavored water was wonderful at lunch. They also have 24/7 tea, coffee, hot chocolate stations throughout the ship. Yum. We always get herbal tea (me) and hot chocolate(Mike) before retiring for the nite.
