We had a wonderful time. Even though there weren't five stars across the board, we still enjoyed what we did and where we went. We made some fantastic friends that we feel will last a lifetime. We visited beautiful ports. The only downside is that there is never enough time. So much to see, so little time.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Getting to the ship from the Ravenna train station took some investigation and asking questions. It would have been helpful to have more information on options to get to the cruise ship. The embarkation process, once there, was great.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The food was mediocre. I took advantage of eating in the ports as much as possible. I don't find the extra expense for specialty restaurants to be worth it. The main dining room is typically where I would have dinner but was not impressed. We chose to eat in the Windjammer on the last night because it had the better options.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Pools weren't crowded on this cruise, so it was nice. The fitness centers were clean.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The stage shows were good. I think the shows on the ships used to be much better. The lead performers in the shows weren't as good as the other performers. Other musicians on the ship were great. There were some fun parties with the DJs. It would be helpful if there was more information about theme nights, so we could participate.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our cabin steward, Norbert, was wonderful and provided everything we needed. He was personable and had a calm demeanor.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship's layout was great, and everything was cleaned and well-maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

Everything was great. There was plenty of storage. The beds and pillows are very comfortable.
Ship tip
The staff is very friendly and helpful. It was very easy to find our way around the ship.
It was a nice, safe town to walk around. It was fun to walk around the evening before and see everyone sitting outside having drinks and food. Having arrived the evening before, we chose a late boarding on the ship so we could see as much as possible. We did not take a tour.
Dubrovnik was absolutely breath taking. The people were great. We took a Game of Thrones tour through a private company. The water in the public fountains is all drinkable and taste great.
Beautiful port, but too many cruise ships in port at the same time. It was like being herded through narrow streets like cattle. I would prefer to visit, but not on a cruise. We got up early to take the cable car to the town. Most people waited in a long line. Upon return, the line was too long and we had to walk down or else miss the last tender to the cruise ship. It would have been over an hour and a half wait for the cable car. We did not take an excursion. We hiked from Fira to Oia and took a bus back.
The winds were too strong to visit the port. Instead, we went to Corfu and arrived at 4pm were in port until 5 pm the next day. It was the best time due to the overnight stay. It was more relaxed. I would give Corfu five stars.
The disembarkation process was seamless and went well. A five-star experience. It would have been more helpful if we had options for getting to the airport or train station long before our trip started. There were options to be transferred to various train stations and airports, but we were not aware of them until the day before we disembarked.
