Pure Bliss. by Will89

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Aurora

What a glorious way to spend 4 weeks. Crossing the Atlantic both times was every bit as enjoyable as port days. Best way to see the world. Wonderful staff. Lovely ship.

Pensioners abandoned at Zeebrugge by Caponicus

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Aurora / Destination: Baltic

Warning: On last day of cruise I was taken ill at Zeebrugge. My wife and I are pensioners. Told I should go to hospital. After having been advised by the emergency doctor and neurologist at Knokke-Heist hospital that I was fit to return to the ship that day, the doctor on board refused to allow me back, but that was after we had been charged by the ship's medical centre £550 for a blood test and scan. My time in the medical centre was just 55 mins. We were told in no uncertain terms that we would not be allowed back on the ship and we would have to make our own way home, knowing that all our suitcases and major credit cards were on board the ship. This is 3 days before Christmas. Never travel with P&O if you expect compassion or help if you are ill. They just want you off the ship so you are no longer their responsibility. We were met by two big burly security guards to make sure we did not try to get back on board. Don't get ill on a P&O cruise. It's £50 just to walk through the door of the medical centre. From now on P&O means profit and overcharging. We will never travel with them again.

Fantastic Cruise From Boarding. Feels like Coming Home. I never want to Leave. The Staff go out of their way to Welcome us back onboard. They cannot do enough for us. We would Have Felt Safer bieng onboard During the Lockdowns. Because the Ships Cannit be any Cleaner or Safer.

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Aurora / Destination: Scandinavia

Our best cruise by a long way ... snow ( record fall in 97 years ) really made it .... but experiences were excellent .. when your having snowball fights with complete strangers on top deck .. just shows the great spirit on board from everyone

Successful search for the Northern Lights by TerryT54628953

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Aurora / Destination: Scandinavia

Overall 4 is about right. The size of the ship is restrictive and many of my criticisms relate to this fact. However, the small size allowed us to enter the fjords, so any discomfort is worth the scenery and actually seeing the Northern Lights.

Lovely Sunny Cruise by LibbeyX

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Aurora / Destination: Europe

Lovely ship. Entertainment low key and old fashioned. Can find plenty of dancing on a night if you look for it. Age group not as old as I expected, but must admit missed the family feel to the ship. The theatre dancers and singers best I v ever seen, and the food in the MDR excellent.

Excellent cruise on the lovely Aurora by archieparchie

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Aurora / Destination: Canaries

Excellent cruise. Ship, food and crew very good. Good atmosphere on board, entertainment was not so good. Food was the best we have experienced on recent cruises, for a change the sirloin steaks were edible. There were quite a few days at sea but not many activities apart from the norm. Ports on the whole were ok but why they keep on going to Gran canaria beats me. We did the HOHO tour for which P&O sell the tickets. We seemed to do a tour of the most derelict areas of Gran Canaria. No one got off the bus as the stops were pretty unimpressive. In spite of this we had a great time and are looking forward to our next cruise in October
