It was of course pre COVID. But it was fast and easy.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Didn’t try the specialty venues but the mdr food was great and the buffet open most of the day was good too. Fabulous cocktails.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Very traditional and old school kind of cruising. If you are looking for slides and ice skating etc then this is not the right ship.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Shows were good. Great music throughout the cruise.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was kind and went the extra mile to serve us at the best.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I loved the ship for the old ocean liner kind of vibe that it has. I will definitely cruise again on Aurora in the future. Everywhere was spotless.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Had a small inside cabin. Very clean and comfortable anyway. The bed was comfortable.

Ship tip

Ho visit the crow’s nest. It’s lovely and the Anderson’s

Ports of call

La Coruna, Spain

4 out of 5
Great because the ship docked right close to the city centre. We had a shellfish mix that was great. We didn’t look at shore excursions at all but the one to Santiago de Compostela seems really interesting.

Gijon, Spain

4 out of 5
Nice town centre. We had tapas that we loved

St. Peter Port, Guernsey, Channel Islands

2 out of 5
Guernsey is very cute however we had to tender with rough sea and that kind of ruined everything.

Santander, Spain

3 out of 5
A bit of a planning mistake from P&o. Apparently Santander is great for shopping and we docked there on a Sunday and there wasn’t much going on

Disembarkation

I’d say it was fine. We got off at the time we were scheduled to and our suitcases were waiting for us at the terminal.
