Enjoy your cruise on AURORA.
Generally considered by those I met on board to be a popular and friendly ship.
Popular and friendly ship, ideal size for first cruise
Popular and friendly 🚢 ship
You can visit all areas in one day so take the time to enjoy each one. 3.2 Laps of the promenade deck is 1 mile so do this each day you will feel better for it (if you are able to of course).
This was our 5th cruise and we have had some rough crossing, this was our first on Aurora, now the ship did seem to suffer with a lot of movement. The seas were moderate with some for 3 - 7 winds so it was by no means a mill pond, but i think t suffered more than other ships we have been on.
Aurora is probably my favourite p and o ship. She is friendly and not too big so has a lovely warm feel.
If you have a dietary issue let the cruise company know before you travel. Take some of your dietary snacks with you
The ship is small and caters for over 65 age group.
Superb as always.
Andersons bar serves some very nice bits on a formal evening, and it has got some very nice seating.
Get to the shows early or you may not get a seat
Respect and be respected
Enjoy yourself it’s a great ship
Definitely go to the glass house restaurant and pay a little more it’s not much but the food is special
Dont expect to get from one end of the ship to the other in a straight line, unless your on deck
Just enjoy it it’s a lovely ship
Walk round the ships prom on the first day and smell the teek wooden decks and go to the ships dedicated cinema. Excellent space
Medium sized ship, easy to access all areas of the ship with pleasant friendly crew, second favourite ship after Oceana.
