Review summary

Lovely ship. Entertainment low key and old fashioned. Can find plenty of dancing on a night if you look for it. Age group not as old as I expected, but must admit missed the family feel to the ship. The theatre dancers and singers best I v ever seen, and the food in the MDR excellent.

Arrived early due to worry about traffic. Did have a small wait but on the ship well ahead of time

MDR food some of the best I v ever had. Buffet fine, but mainly the same everyday. Not a great deal except salad for a veggie like me. Was an ice cream bar which was nice, but had to pay for it. The coffee was undrinkable.

Onboard Activities

If you like a quiz there were plenty of them, and knitting and talks about paintings. Some simple dance classes and exercise classes. Also plenty of gambling if you like that kind of thing.

Entertainment

The resident group were great. Also the resident singer. The Headliner singers and dancers were fabulous. However the “ brought in” entertainment was really low key, one comedian in the two weeks, ( his shows were packed out). Other than than just singers, some of whom were really not good. Also two opera singers and a classical guitarist seemed overkill on that type of entertainment.

Lovely cabin really roomy. With a nice balcony. At the front.
