Very convenient for snacking and coffee/ tea breaks. Small sandwiches were very tasty. Good variety of sweets were always available
Windjammer Marketplace

The buffet food in the Windjammer was excellent. Many selections to choose from including carved meats, fish, casseroles, baked , pasta and Asian selections. Salad bar was extensive. Always at least two soup selections were available. Service in the Windjammer was good. There was always someone asking if we needed anything.
The Grande

We had a 5:30 seating at the main dining room. The service was very good and the food was high quality for the most part. Nevertheless, the menu options could be improved.

Onboard Activities

This trip was mainly for relaxation and as such we did not use everything that was available. Each morning we used the fitness center. The variety of gym equipment was adequate for our needs. We also used the solarium daily and the whirlpools. We enjoyed the openness and the glass roof enclosure that made the solarium a unique experience. My wife everyday visited the casino and enjoyed the gambling slot machines.
Entertainment

There were three major show productions.
THE GIFT- this show was hard to understand but the singing and dancing was done well. Because the story was difficult to follow, I would not recommend it.
SPECTRA’S CABARET- was amazing. The dancing and the singing was superb and well executed. I very highly recommend this show.
WE WILL ROCK YOU- was superb. High energy with rock music and singing. The two main characters did a powerful vocal performance. This show has my high recommendation.

Ship Quality

The focal point of the Ship’s layout was the central esplanade. Therefore it facilitated the main circulation and spatial organization. The ship was clean well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

State room 8102 was very spacious with a very large window. There was plenty of storage space and closets. The cabin was very clean.
Ship tip
There are numerous activities and things to do. Plan your days accordingly and make use of the onboard compass. Enjoy your cruise!!!
Yay!! So glad you enjoyed Bar Harbor! I am lucky enough to live in the beautiful state of Maine. If you ever come back to bar Harbor again be sure to hit up the thirsty whale for the best fried clams ever!!
