Service was excellent throughout the ship. Food was just okay. Actually ended up preferring the Windjammer Buffet to the dining room.
Onboard Activities

Didn't make use of much of the onboard activities. But they looked like they were fun for those who used them. We did do the bumper cars, which were a lot of fun, but just watched the surf rider. Walked the track. That's about it.
Entertainment

The stage shows, performers, dancing, singing, acting, were all excellent. Used a lot of technical effects that were terrific.
Service and Staff

All of the staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. The room stewards completed our wishes before we knew we had them. And throughout the ship there was always someone helpful.
Ship Quality

The ship was well maintained. No problem with cleanliness. A little too large for me. No central gathering point.
Cabin / Stateroom

Picked the cabin for its position on the ship and was initially very happy with it. Had plenty of room - no problem with places for suitcases or clothes. However, there was something wrong with the design of the pipes (according to one of the guest services people) every time anyone in an adjoining cabin or the cabin above us flushed the toilet, we could hear it as if it was in our cabin. And the sound was so loud that we had a few sleepless nights. Ultimately, we asked to be moved and were moved to cabin 6566, a cabin with a balcony directly in front of one of the lifeboats. The cabin was exactly like the previous one except some of the spaciousness we had was now a balcony with a blocked view. The cabins were very clean and comfortable, but we were unhappy with the fact that we had to move.
We've been there a few times before and don't go to the beach-so just walked around a bit. It is a beautiful island, but if you don't shop or sun, there isn't much to do.
Actually leaving the ship was fine. However, the shuttle experience to mid-town manhattan was less than pleasant. We were informed when we arrived at the shuttle area that they were just waiting for a few more people. Over one hour later they finally gave up waiting and took us. In the meantime, they filled other shuttles with people going in other directions. Very unhappy.
