Review summary

Cruised plenty of times...this was disappointing . Rename the ship Bore Of The Seas Did I mention the Casino was Smokey? The pool was salt water and hurt my eyes. The diamond club was nice

Mama Mia And the A Capella Singers were delightful . One comedian was fine ( the chubby guy ) the other one was awful. (Dan ? I was successful in forgetting his name.) he had no material and was rude and obnoxious.) The cruise director was nothing special.

We had an excursion for Pearl Island but were directed by staff to go on a different ship taxi. We wind up on Balmoral Island which has plenty of flies due to the pigs. We escaped on a small boat that was dropping off passengers. But our day was ruined.

My wife and I cruised on the Allure twice. Other than the music in Mama Miama being too loud, we throughly enjoyed. Maybe you should try camping next vacation.

If you can’t find anything to do on a ship that big then perhaps cruising isn’t your thing. You mentioned you have cruised plenty of times, so why aren’t there any past cruises listed? I would be interested in seeing what cruise line is so much better than RC. We are sailing on Allure in two and a half weeks and can’t wait. Even a “boring time” on a cruise ship beats the heck out of Indiana in February 😂

Sorry you didn’t enjoy it. We had a great time aboard and thought it was a beautiful ship, we felt we didn’t have enough time to see everything it was so big.

Allure is a great ship and we couldn't possibly be bored even if we tried. It sounds like you wouldn't be happy regardless. Furthermore the casino isn't really that smokey on the non-smoking side as I spent plenty of time on either side....js. I loved the food, entertainment and just having plenty of options.

Agree with prior comments. If you’re bored on the Allure it’s your own fault, as there is sooo much to do. I found all the entertainment to be outstanding. Almost all casinos on cruises are Smokey. Almost all pools on ships are salt water. Reservations for dinners and shows should be made prior to cruising. We never had to wait more than 15 minutes, and we thought the food was incredible.

I agree with 15mustang, plenty to do on that ship. Of course the casino was smokey, you could go to the non smoking side, but there will still be some smoke; it is to be expected. Every repeat cruiser knows that the pools are saltwater. Unfortunately, sounds like nothing would've been good enough.

How could you possibly be bored on Allure. There is so much to see and do. It's the 1st cruise we didn't relax on since we wanted to do so much. This is a bad review, Allure is amazing!

great boat. too old. a few months before cancelling Roatan, the best port and on the day of the last stop at Costa Maya, the supposed 3rd largest boat in the world, couldnt dock because it needs an overhaul and one or two motors were not working!
