Good cruise. Large ship but it didn't feel crowded. For our purposes, a smaller ship like Liberty of the Seas is just fine because you don't have to reserve so many events ahead of time.
Embarkation

We breezed through the embarkation process and were on-board by about 11am
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
We ate at Chops, Giovanni's and 150 Central Park. 150 Central Park had the best ambiance. The steak, which we tried at Chops and Giovanni's ranged from terrible to average. The one at Chops was somewhat stringy and tasted lousy. Consider this comment in light of the fact that we regularly purchase our steak back home in Texas from HEB where it is awesome. Service was fine at all three place. We also at at Chef's table. In my case, I seated at the end of the table far away from most of the other guests and was unable to participate in most of the conversations, which made for a terrible experience in my opinion. Most of the selections at the Chef's table were interesting and tastefully done, but not worth the price. What was amazing was the chocolate ball for dessert that was one of the most delicious and interesting desserts that I have ever had. Finally, we did My Time Dining, which was fine, but I think in the future we will opt for the reserved seating in the MDR so we get to know the wait staff and other diners better.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
There were plenty of activities but we did not participate in any.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We especially enjoyed the comedians, Mama Mia show and the ice skating. The skills at the Aquashow were amazing but that sort of show is just not out thing.
Children's Programs
Did not travel with children
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Good service every where, especially in the Diamond Lounge. The concierge was most helpful and the wait staff worked very hard to keep our drinks filled.
Ship Quality

The ship was in good shape. I did not see any sign of age.
Cabin / Stateroom

Perfect size for us. Large walk in closet. Large balcony.
Make no mistake, 6000 people is a crowd and you will feel it at times on ship and in ports. Foolish to suggest otherwise. In usable space, liberty is not that much smaller and has a few thousand less people too plus unlike Oasis class which has many venues on ship, like central Park, that are totally weather dependant and in bad weather inside areas can fill quickly. Oasis class was built to haul as many people as possible for maximum profit, not maximum free space usable in any weather. Our last cruise on Liberty had bad weather and high wind on sea days but had little effect on ships venues, not same on Oasis class. You will never see one on a northern, Bermuda or Alaskan cruise
