Review summary

On previous cruises we had been on smaller ships.  This was our first with over 3500 passengers.  Everything is bigger and modern and the ships have more facilities and things to do. If one prefers to use the pools and hot tubs and avoid the trivia games etc. that's okay.  The point is there is much to satisfy just about everyone. The ship is the vacation destination and not the various ports of call.  Words can't express how beautiful the ship is and how smoothly the week goes with no problems. We have zero negative comments but one positive of many is to recommend to anyone not to miss the dining experience of the main dining rooms because they don't want to put on  pair of long pants.  It's not just the food but the experience with the waiters that is particularly noteworthy.  We went  with first time cruisers that weren't excited about gett9ing dressed for dinner but once they realized the reason for this experience everyone was looking forward to dinner even when we weren't hungry. The great buffet that was available was history as far as we were concerned. For us, this was a highlight. Great friends on a great ship. A perfect combination.

We have cruised before and remember the rooms as being somewhat cramped but on this newer ship the balcony room was more spacious. Once the suitcase was stowed under the bed their was no difficulty in moving around room. As always the shower is a bit cramped but that was expected. All in all a very clean comfortable room in a terrific ship.

Ship tip

For those that prefer not dressing a bit more formal for dinner throw in a tie and sport coat in you luggage. Don't miss the experience of the main dining room. Formal night is only two nights and nobody cares if you wear the same tie twice.

When I booked my next cruise while onboard, the RC agent told me that the larger ships are designed to be the destination which is why they include more at sea days. BTW, according to ship stats on ship mate, Adventure has a passenger capacity of 3114.

I think your review is posted under the wrong ship. Adventure only has capacity of 2100 passengers. Glad you enjoyed whichever ship you sailed on
