We enjoyed the cruise and the ports. The ship was beautiful with interesting decor. There was always something for everyone to do whether you wanted to be active or more laid back.

An Excellent Ship and Relaxing Vacation by paulnutz17

Ship: Celebrity Beyond

The ship design is great. We tried every main dining room plus Eden and Raw on Five. Eden's food is exceptional. It is worth the extra cost.

Panama Canal was great. Oceania wasn't. by rlbernthal

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Sirena

Don't take tours sponsored by Oceania. One of ours was terrible and they didn't stand behind it. Should have been a 7 hour tour and it lasted 10. We got back on the ship after sailing time. We asked for a refund and they said no because not enough people complained. A ridiculous position for a cruise line that is supposed to be higher end. This was our second time with them and will never sail with them again.

Trip experience could of been better if .... by resmont

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Sirena

In general, this cruise would be much better if: 1/ provided detail port information and disembarkation information in advance for better planning and ashore experiences 2/ provided the accurate information about health situation on the cruise rather than announcement about one sick person leading to cancellation of all aboard activities Missing the first port of call and cancellation of major onboard activities made this trip quite boresome and socially unpleasant after all

OK, BUT.....There are better cruise lines (Holland) by jjz109jaj

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Sun

Norwegian failed to give us our complimentary room upgrade (as Diamond Lattitude members) which we had requested. Told us no rooms available and to submit a cash request which they accepted. Cruise Next will lie to you and claim you'll get the upgrade free, but Corporate Norwegian won't grant it. Company is based on a series of marketing lies and misconceptions. Don't fall for it.

Disappointing Cruise by warner

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Viking Mars

Disappointed in Viking, as was surprised how they treat people with slight disabilities. I think most first time folks with any physical problems won't be back. At least, that's what they told me.

Too many days at sea! by Dsc319

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Gem

If you do not cruise a lot, then this one (11 nts) may be too long for you, as it was for us. We did get away from "winter" for a few weeks, but there are more meaningful ways to spend your travel money.

Fabulous Trip - Loved the Gem by sjtravels61

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Gem

We enjoyed ourselves but having 6 days at sea (1 cancel, 1 was the lock day and only got 1 hour to get off boat), I will pick cruises with more port days. Our last cruise was only 1 day at sea and would have liked at least 2. So somewhere in the middle of that for a 10-11 day cruise. Loved the ship, loved the crew. We had a great time.

Great Caribbean Cruise by cyndiw31

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Beyond

Truly enjoyed our cruise. Loved the warm weather and beautiful water. The Beyond is a very good ship, but consistently crowded in all its venues. Excellent music in the various bar venues. The infinity veranda is a great design element for the stateroom. Crew was excellent, but crowds negatively impacted service in restaurant and bar areas.

A great trip on a great Ship. The crew was very nice and helped make the trip memorable. The ABC island this time of the year were very hot so provided a great time at the beach and the pool. by dansonmar

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Beyond

The Beyond and her sister ships provide everything you would want on a cruise. If you like a balcony, you need to get the few rooms with a real balcony. The infinite balcony is noise, if you open the window it stop the air condition, and with the weather at 90 degrees and 90% humidity, you can imagen. Bottom line it is not a balcony. Maybe useful for Alaska cruises were it may be too cold to use the balcony.

What's going on at Princess?! by KenCrabbs

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Ruby Princess

This was our 44th cruise, but our first with Princess. Friends and relatives had raved about it over time, so we were looking forward to a premium experience. We really wanted to like Princess, but within a few days, we realized we'd made a big mistake in booking this cruise. The food selection was limited and bland. There was no enforced hand washing (we did it voluntarily), so we weren't surprised when we came down with the flu on the fourth day. We spent most of the remainder of the cuise in our cabin. The room service menu was extremely limited, so we ventured out for bad meals in the buffet - diligently washing our hands and staying away from others. We were so sick of that food that late in the cruise, we went to the main dining room to ask for take out from the regular menu. They were able to arrange to have the meals sent back to our cabin with room service. It was one of my favorite dishes - Beef Wellington served with spinach and a twice-baked potato. However, I only finished the spinach. The Wellington was tough and bland and the potato was very dry. We loved the ability to track our travel mates with the medallion and the app. However, aside from that, the app wasn't very good. We couldn't find important information like the service hours of various things throughout the ship. I don't know how the Ruby Princess compares to other ships in the fleet; however, based on our experience, it feels like Carnival Corporation has essentially abandoned what was once a premium cruiseline and are milking it dry.
