This was a delightful and relaxing time in the sun with my husband and sister.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We were pleased with the offerings.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The median age on this cruise was high, with numerous scooters in use. Many of this group enjoyed bridge and mah Jongg. There were no water slides on the beautiful Rotterdam VII, but there was ping pong and pickleball.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We were well entertained with music (not classical), dance, magic and more. A pop pianist and singer in Billboard was very popular. Our awesome cruise director, Karlijn, had. A big following with her coffee/cocktail interviews and incredible stage talks.
Children's Programs
There were very, very few children on the ship.
Service and Staff

Small but smart, cozy and comfy describes our forward cabin. We enjoyed the balcony.
Ship tip
Don’t miss the Dutch Coffee Shop! The observation area is a great space to hang out, and the game room is adjacent.
The ship had been scheduled to go to Curaçao, but Aruba was substituted. We did a walking tour on our own down the waterfron5 to the old fort & museum.
Cartagena is colorful, and we hired a local driver to take us to points of interest in the old town. He also took us through the interesting Gethsemane art district. One has to contend with many street vendors, but that goes with the experience. The nature area by the dock is wonderful with monkeys, parrots, peacocks, etc.
We walked to the Cathedral of Limon and had an interesting visit with a native in an art gallery off the.pedestrian mall that featured Banana Man, a creation of Covid time.
This was substituted for a scheduled stop in Key West, which we would have preferred. Weather conditions made it difficult to board tenders and kept us in a line for 2 hours.
