Review summary

In general, this cruise would be much better if: 1/ provided detail port information and disembarkation information in advance for better planning and ashore experiences 2/ provided the accurate information about health situation on the cruise rather than announcement about one sick person leading to cancellation of all aboard activities Missing the first port of call and cancellation of major onboard activities made this trip quite boresome and socially unpleasant after all

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
most of the activities were cancelled due to potential risk of infection from an announced single passenger who became sick on the ship. It created boredom and uncomfortable/ unfriendly environment on the ship with No reason. Passengers should be offered at least a credit for what we experienced unfortunately

Entertainment

4 out of 5
stage shows lasted a few days before completed cancelled (see above)

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

5 out of 5

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico Did not visit port

the ship missed this port due to current and wind apparently, could not go into the port

Harvest Caye, Belize

2 out of 5
Total lack of information about opportunity to spend time on Harvest Caye instead of useless and costly excursion, information about port of calls should be widely available on the website ahead of cruise for a proper planning. In addition, constant requests for additional tips was annoying

Santo Tomas De Castilla, Guatemala

3 out of 5
Again, port was OK but cost/value of excursion was mediocre, lack of enthusiasm was obvious and ended up spending time waiting for the back to go back to the ship at the cost of excursion

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

4 out of 5

Puerto Limon, Costa Rica

5 out of 5

Colon, Panama

3 out of 5
Not much to do in the port aside limited shopping, excursion were limited to observation of the canal's lock which was the mail purpose of the canal transit, not exciting

Panama Canal Transit

5 out of 5

Panama City, Panama

4 out of 5
nothing much about this port itself but the lack of information about disembarkation excursion was very much needed in advance to properly plan the air travel rather than 3 days into the cruise

Disembarkation

Unfortunate events that probably could not be prevented. I always check the cruise websites to see how easy it is to view local attractions without spending money on their excursions before I get onboard. Maybe doing a little pre-planning would help.
