Great Ports with Uneven Service by PLG

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Seabourn Encore

although Seaborn considers itself a luxury cruise, paper luggage tags and canvas tote bags tell a different story. the serve is inconsistent and it took 8 days for me to get a very minor problem resolved. I cruised them twice in 6 months, thinking the first hiccup was a fluke (I sent clothes tot he laundry and they came back crammed into a bag, still damp. when I suggested that perhaps I didn't need to send laundry out the supervisor said maybe you don't. I just think that they can't shake the "carnival" feel and yet the cost father cruise is so much more.

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

This was our first cruise in the asian market and we had a great time. But very different from Mexico and the caribbean cruises we have been on. Everyone was having fun as we did and would not hesitate to do it again. Bon voyage!

Disappointed by larrycgaines

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Seven Seas Explorer

Very disappointed with regent, room noise was unacceptable and worse they obviously knew about it, poor safety in shower no safety bars again they knew about this, my guess is people have been injured. Broke our luggage, they returned a blouse from laundry damaged, service in restaurants sporadic, food was average , tours were average, tour guides were terrible very difficult to understand

Great Cruise by eakocian

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Seven Seas Explorer

We enjoyed several stops because they were in countries we had not visited before. Some of the excursions were average mainly because these sights had not been visited in 3 years so the itineraries were average.

Wonderful Far-East cruise by SyedAndSeeme

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Spectrum of the Seas

We are back to pre-Covid level of passengers. I miss the small period of time when the ships were not full. The weather was hot and its going to get hotter so if you enjoy that kind of weather, this cruise is for you. Enjoyed visiting Ho Chi Minh city and Bangkok and of course Singapore is amazing. Those were the highlights of our cruise.

Interesting places by JuanisG

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Westerdam

I had been wanting to take this cruise for many years and was extremely disappointed that a week before sailing one of the ports was cancelled - Semarang (one of the main reasons we took this cruise. I would have cancelled this cruise if we were not already in Singapore. Lombok was added at the last moment and it caused a shortage of time in several of the ports, so activities in the ports had to be reduced.

our seventh continent by rickm87

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Norwegian Star

We were extremely fortunate that cruising the straits of Magellan and the Drake passage we had a very smooth ocean and with great sunny weather for all but one day when cruising by Deception and Elephant Island. Only mishap was we were not allowed to tender at Stanly (Falkland Islands), most of understand that safety is most important.

Went with friends, because of the Falkland Islands port cancelation the sea days were excessive. Love the ports that we did go to.

Hot Cold Hot Again...Amazing Cruise by hets313

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Infinity

We survived Drake Passage and made it to Antarctica. The white continent is truly pristine and you have to see it because the pics just don't do it justice. It was a challenge to pack but we did it! Bring your warm clothes!! I'm not sorry I wore my Ugg boots and just had to do a quick change of shoes when I arrived in 90 degree Buenos Aires heat. Take the penguin excursions - you won't be disappointed.

Fabulous Scenery, Wildlife, and Accommodations. by chcoha

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Seabourn Venture

The trip went off with no problems. We had a wonderful experience. We did have a few wind related problems for two landings but the team was able to adjust schedule so we missed only one landing. The land excursions and zodiac excursions were great. We were able to see almost all the wildlife that was stated we would see and the landscapes were unbelievable.

Overbooked and under staffed by DrO46

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Westerdam

The ship was filled to capacity but with only a maximum of 5 tenders it meant there were waits of 1 to 1 1/2 hours to board tenders and always long lines everywhere on the ship and no seats in the Lido. The ship may have beds for 2,000 passengers but it cannot properly serve them or get them on/off the ships. It was the worst HAL cruise since we started with them in 1991. The itinerary was wonderful but the ship just didn't function with so many guests.

Chaotic beginning and ending by snowlaurie

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Star / Destination: Other (Asia/Africa/Middle East)

The cruise was not what we had expected especially with no stops in the Antarctic, nor getting close enough to shore to photograph anything. Should have had a high-powered, long-range lens in order to see anything. A couple of the shows were good and the rest no-so-good.
