Review summary

This was our first cruise in the asian market and we had a great time. But very different from Mexico and the caribbean cruises we have been on. Everyone was having fun as we did and would not hesitate to do it again. Bon voyage!

Food was great and enjoyed wonderful a meal at Izumi. The main dining room staff were fantastic and professional. We had my time dining (wont do that again) and it was a little confusing with the crush of people lining up to be seated but the staff handled it as well as could be expected. Once seated the experience was great.

Onboard Activities

Pools were great and we hung out in the solarium and cover pools as the outdoor pool had too many kids.

Service was excellent from the dinning room wait staff to the drink waiters and buffett staff. Our room was cleaned in a timely manner and done well. But this is the first cruise we have been on that the room steward did not stop by in introduce themselves to us. In fact we did not wee the steward the entire cruise. Not a complaint but just odd to us.

Enjoyed the cabin and the balcony. Perfect place for a nightcap after a busy day of having fun. Now the mattress. Terrable. Way to firm.

Ship tip

Penang Hill and Temple tour. Save you money unless your enjoy standing in line for a good part of the tour. Guide was great. But honestly most tours in ports I am disappointed in.
