Very nice cruise, good value. by danpamsmith

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Ruby Princess / Destination: Mexico

the staff at bars often spoke among themselves in their language and the pool bars were terrible service, light pours on drinks and slow Wheelhouse bar was terrific, great staff, attentive and pleasant; good entertainment.

Alright Caribbean Cruise by cowangirl3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Inspiration / Destination: Mexico

I cruise before and did not find this cruise as exciting as the last one O took in July 2018. The people were not as friendly and its was a little cold. The entertainment was not good.👎

Very good mexico cruise by mciricillo

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Grand Princess / Destination: Mexico

We enjoyed our trip. Ship had some problems elevators didn't work twice. Needs a little touch up. Entertainment was wonderful. Food was good. Waiters all in all were good. Room service was never on time always 30 min to early. Would like to see happy hour come back. Movies under the stars always great. And pizza is very good.

Very relaxing and enjoyable Mexican Riviera Cruise. by jlbrubaker

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Eurodam / Destination: Mexico

It was a last minute getaway for us - we needed it! Great embarking/disembarking from San Diego. Loved having a few days at sea to enjoy the ocean and the ship's offerings. We weren't interested in any excursions (done them before), just the amenities and shore visits. Hendra (steward) was especially attentive and responsive and delightful personality.

wonderful caribbean cruise by cookielady4444

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Ruby Princess / Destination: Mexico

No cruise is perfect. This one was lots of fun sailing over New Years. The food left a little bit to be desire not really as good as before. Dessert were not up to par. My favorite production show was cancelled due to productional problems…………………sad but true. If you have rules, the rules should be followed. The adult only pool and hot tub were full of kids (as were all of the other hot tubs. The kids overtook all the hot tubs) The kids have a special place just for kids and the adults need to have a space that isn’t kid friendly.

Honeymoon Cruise by dominiquelowe

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Inspiration / Destination: Mexico

This was our honeymoon cruise and overall the experience was very good. Getting on and off the ship to start and end the cruise was very easy. I had been on this same cruise 13 years ago and this experience was much better than the first time. I do not recommend paying for the internet package because it really didn't work; major lag time or not working at all. Also, we bought the Bubbles package and I definitely don't think we drank $70 worth of soda. Overall, it was a very good experience!

Sketchy by tbrombacker

Never again will I sail with Carnival. It was definitely the bottom of the barrel cruise lines and they try to get by giving you the least and charging you an outrageous amount.

Great, simple cruise by lenmuffit

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Inspiration / Destination: Mexico

This is a great "starter" cruise--it was our first and it really gave us a great taste of what a cruise is like without being too overwhelming or expensive. I really recommend this for LA locals and those who haven't cruised before and aren't sure if they'll like it.

Yawn by archaicvegan

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Eurodam / Destination: Mexico

You will be bored out of your mind if you are under 65 years of age. There is not much to do on the ship and after a while it becomes redundant and you look forward to the trip being over. I should have selected a different cruise with more activities and more variety of a crowd.

So - S0 - No desire to repeat by ms3048

Okay. Best part of the cruise was the Seuss Breakfast (and we were all adults). It was pretty stereotypical of every other Carnival cruise we've been on.

Disappointment by CIAI

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Ruby Princess / Destination: Mexico

This cruise was pretty much a disappointment to me. The speciality restaurants and the ship layout were the worst. It's only because of a few areas on good ratings in my review that it seems high. If I had a category where I could rate my entire time on the ship, it would be 2 stars. My advice to help your ship would be to start by getting rid of your culinary staff. If you're actually interested in having an honest discussion, I can be reached by email mark@aimerito.com.

Very nice experience by neildadian

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Imagination / Destination: Mexico

The cruise experience was better than I expected. I sailed on Carnival in the late 80's and mid 90's and was not impressed either time. I have avoided Carnival ever since. However, I was happily surprised at the quality experience.

Washy Washy by lidasadatiLida

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Norwegian Star / Destination: Mexico

This family cruise was for my 50th birthday. It became cream ala cream birthday of all time. We all enjoyed ourselves so much we are planning our next cruise now. The shows were excellent. Suggestions: More tropical, latin bachata Music and dance music. The cliche' YMCA is fun once. Music should excite people to dance and think of the trip after the trip. Restaurant lines too long, never managed to get into the ginza the hour and half wait kept us from going there, since we could get into aqua and the other faster, after the 7:30 show.
