Review summary

This is a great "starter" cruise--it was our first and it really gave us a great taste of what a cruise is like without being too overwhelming or expensive. I really recommend this for LA locals and those who haven't cruised before and aren't sure if they'll like it.

No excursion since it was our outgoing port--but Long Beach is lovely--lots of places to eat and fun things to do.

Catalina Island, California

Wish we'd had more time on the island--so much to see and do. Beautiful scenery. We went on the "submarine" boat and saw lots of fish--it was a great short (45 min) excursion. Then we rented a golf cart and toured the island on our own. It was great fun!

Ensenada, Mexico

Ensenada was a BLAST!!! We did the La Boufadora and wine tasting tour. It was the absolute best part of our trip. Roy was our tour guide--he was awesome--super informative and funny--just the right mix of knowledge and fun! La Bufadora is BEAUTIFUL and the wine and olive oil tasting was fantastic. Can't recommend that tour enough.
