In a Word, Amazing by Cruiser83432552

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Ruby Princess / Destination: Mexico

This cruise was fabulous. Great food, great Service, amazing cities to visit and so much to do. We wanted a bit more upscale cruising, which is why we chose Princess. It was a great compromise between wanting a cruise that was not horribly expensive and had great service and options. It was great for a romantic getaway for 2 and we cannot wait to go back!

First time on the Ruby Princess by cruisintc

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Ruby Princess / Destination: Mexico

Overall it was a good cruise with no major hitches. Only thing was the air conditioning on the ship. Wasn't to impressed with the alternate dining in the Share restaurant. The Crown Grill was excellent as usual. The Voice of the Ocean talent competition was really good.

Disappointment by mylovedarla1998

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Ruby Princess / Destination: Mexico

This was our first cruise, I joined my two sisters and my mom. First, the cruise itself was nice; however, the bartenders were rude every time we asked for our drinks which I paid almost $500 for the premeium drink package. The pools were all super small . The restaurants were not too impressive either and servers not being friendly either. And, the most importantly, our room had some kind of bugs where all of us were getting big bites. We raised ourcoern with the staff but they never bother giving us any mediciationn instead of making us pay for it and also, for the whole week, they didn’t even changed the beddings in the book.

3 day family trip by dreaminqs

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Imagination / Destination: Mexico

Overall the trip was relaxing and a nice quick getaway with the kids. It's very convenient out of Long Beach. I just wish there were more exciting activities available while on. Oars and as well as in port in Ensenada.

Fun trip for our first vacation in a decade by brandonbowers

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Inspiration / Destination: Mexico

It was our first cruise together, and our first vacation sans kids. The day at sea got a little tedious in the early afternoon, with no real activities that interested us scheduled until around 5:30 or so. Entertainment was great, food was good, staff was attentive and knowledgeable. A great experience overall.

Great first time cruise by Cruiser95990369

Great! I loved the entertainment especially the dancing by the pool. The dj and the hostesses were fun and lively. They really know how to hype up a crowd.

Great Fall Break Getaway by celtikerry

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Inspiration / Destination: Mexico

This was a quick getaway with my 8 and 14 yo's for fall break. The boat was full of young fall break families, which worked out well and kept the kids entertained. There was a variety of entertainment for all ages, and everything was pretty well organized and maintained. This is an older and heavily-used ship, but I wasn't expecting anything fancy out of this trip. It is a good intro cruise, or good for a family getaway, and people all seemed to be having a great time.

This was my first Cruise Experience, and I must admit I was a bit uncertain as I was enjoying it alone. But the entire experience turned out to be an incredible one! Friendly Staff, Fun Amenities, Great Food, and a nice sense of forced relaxation out on the ocean! Thank You Carnival!

Great Cruise! Cheapcrusies.com not great. by erikpatt

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Inspiration / Destination: Mexico

As stated previously, we are not happy with . We never received our onboard ship credit. To be honest, i never really thought we would get it. It sounded like a scam from the beginning.

HAL on oosterdam (7 nights mexican riviera) by eskargo

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Oosterdam / Destination: Mexico

it was a nice cruise. the staff was wonderful. although, for first timers, there was not enough information assimilated. gala nights were totally not followed. still, we will definitely cruise again but we would look for more incentives like onboard credit or prepaid gratuities.

HOLLAND AMERICA SHORE EXCURSIONS ARE VERY EXPENSIVE. MEDICAL DEPARTMENT VERY EXPENSIVE WITH OUT OF DATE EQUIPMENT. MY DAD DIED ON THE SS VOLENDAM, 7/18/1950 FROM THE SAME UNACCEPTABLE DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT AND STAFF. NOTHING HAS CHANGED.

We had a fun time overall. The kids club was a highlight for our children as well as the water slides. I'd definitely recommend eating at Guy's Burger Joint...they were so good!!
