NCL not ready to sail with the POA. You pay for an NCL experience and with all the closures on the ship you don't get great value. This is one time it did not pay to go early. Ship was not crowed, but the ship did not provide. Since it was a "Lite" cruise it should have been a "Lite" price. Did not get what we paid for.

Weather was great, tour personal could NOT have been better, ship staff always made you feel welcome, the restaurants were good, and the entrainment had variety.

This being first cruise from Honolulu post-COVID displyed many challenges and opportunities.

The Grand Princess just simply missed the mark on so many levels. The Lotus spa’s up-sell tactics are shameful. I wasn’t there to assist my wife in telling the spa, “no she doesn’t want your special $100 facial experience.” Their used car salesmen approach is just wrong. We had some many issues with this cruise that we have decided not to sail on Princess again. Hawaii drew us in, but do not be fooled… so many passengers complained about the industrial ports, food, service, etc…

Medallion a great idea and used extensively throughout the cruise. Wi-Fi was very undependable and mostly unusable. Princess needs to seriously revamp it....

COVID on ship and no one told us. Embarkation process was A mess. Food and Entertainment.was average. Had to wait for service many times. Ship nas old ever though recently renovated.

While we managed to have a great time, we were appalled by Princess handling of Covid aboard the ship. They adopted a policy "The fewer passengers we test the less Covid we have aboard ship". There was no enforcement or encouragement to wear masks. Elevators were jammed so we used the stairs to avoid possible exposure. We masked at a ll times inside the ship execpt when eating in the Club Class dining room or on the open decks. We never went to the cafeteria because of having to share serving utensils to get food. A number of our friends we met who wore masks and were careful during the cruise subsequently tested positive within a day or two after the cruise. Everyone we met and spoke to were alarmed by Princess officers silence about Covid being aboard the ship in increasing numbers....we know because of Cruise Critic message boards and sharing of information. We don't intend to sail on Princess again until they either take more proactive measures to reduce transmission and be more transparent about the number of cases aboard ship, or until the Pandemic ends. We have sailed on Viking three times in the past year and applaud Viking for their prevention and testing measures aboard all their ships.

The cruise ship is an older ship. Lots of creaking sounds. The service was outstanding. The food was mixed, some good, some not so good. Embarkation and debarkation could have been better organized. It is very cold and the water is rough traveling from California and Hawaii.

We absolutely love Hawaii as this was our 3rd trip but would not do Miracle again

After looking back, I was disappointed in the Cruise because of a very bad experience on our first excursion. The tour company totally ruined this experience by not being prepared. The MAIN attraction was to be Pearl Harbor with a 1 and 1/2 hour stop which turned out to be a 20 minute stop just before the park closed. No time for anything there. Was supposed to be a 7 hour tour, the driver and guide was adamant that it was 6 hours and if there was time, we might make it to Pearl Harbor. SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE 1st STOP. We were refunded 50% of the cost by Carnival. That should have been 100% refund. Once that excursion was ruined there was no way to make it up. Main purpose for this cruise was ruined.

At the end of the cruise I look back and wonder if I am just being a critical old man. We did have a good time. Again the cruise director George was great. The food was not. The seafood bar was one place we enjoyed. I see how carnival needs to keep costs down. For the last two year these ships still needed to be cared for, even though they had no passengers. My Carnival stock is still down. I’ll be back on this ship in July. Look for my review of that cruise. That will be cruise #35

This was a very enjoyable cruise. The only complaint was the rough ride on several sea days. The ship is showing age and needs some TLC to update and provide for current needs - more outlets/USB charging facilities. The shows were good, and overall the entertainment was appropriate for the 8 sea days. We are not gamblers, thus the various Bingo games were not of interest to us. Shopping on ship and in port was OK, but different from our previous Caribbean itineraries.

Overall our trip was great! The staff members (the good ones) made the experience awesome. The fact that the A/C didn’t work and the poor quality of the food can be overlooked. Our excursions, except for the one, were great. We made some awesome friends on the trip. There really wasn’t a place to review the ASL interpreter, Nichole, but she was amazing! We have had a couple different interpreters on our cruises but Nichole takes the cake. She was professional, knowledgeable and flexible. She did her job well. She got my emotions across to guest services when the ran out of distilled water for the CPAP machine on the first day and I couldn’t use my cpap until we got to Honolulu, which is very dangerous. But, I would recommend Nichole’s services to anyone. She’s definitely a cut above the rest and is definitely a keeper. Great job.

Have sailed Princess before and liked but would have to think twice before doing it again due to the Medallion App hard to use inefficient added stress to use on hols. Had all but 1 shore excursion cx by Princess before I sailed but neglected to inform me so had to have what was left ,after spending a whole evening organising the first ones I was not impressed! Apart from that cruise was great trips were fine staff as usual excellent

Nice overall. Mediocre food except in specialty restaurants. Great room steward. Fun cruise director and staff.

Great Cruise! Enjoyed All the Sea Days before, and especially after to relax after a Busy 6 days in Hawaii. The Catalina Island port was a Great Addition to the Cruise. We had to have a Negative COVID Test 48 hours before we Boarded. They gave us another one while we were checking in, and another several days into the Cruise. We also had to wear our Mask in All Public areas of the Ship. They also provided KN95 Mask during the Cruise. The Crew reminded You if You Forgot in a Very nice and Polite way. We felt very Safe and Well looked after.

The Princess Cruise to Hawaii exceeded our expectations in several ways: crew was helpful, professional, and made you feel part of their family. Hard to accomplish this on a large ship. The safety protocols and COVID testing was done as professionally as possible when dealing with over a 1,000 passengers. Excursions were outstanding and the sailing even when the seas were a little rough, were always smooth. Will do this cruise again.

Grateful for this beautiful, cherished vacation. Highly recommended.

All in all, a great cruise. Had a good time. Now gotta go back to work to pay for it and make money for my next cruise
